Oaktel Hotel Grand Shiva

I had worst experience of my life in grand shiva hotel during my stay recently. Customer service, hotel amenities are at lowest possible level you can imagine. Everything needs repair here, nothing works. 1) Geyser not working: When switched on and touched tap water, i had and an mild electric shock. I changed the room. But that was even worse. I had to bath with cold water all three days. I also saw empty odonil packet may have been put a year before. 2) Bathroom shower not working. When I complained , they shamelessly said either tap water or shower will work. I had to choose one option and that was obviously tap water. 3) AC not working: AC will show on but it will never cool the room, had complained but I had no energy left to argue with the staff. 4) Room service: They will never do room service, had stayed for 3 nights. Last day I called them for room service, nobody came for about 15 minutes. I called again 2 times and finally they came. They have no regrets and are shameless. 5) I had 2 contact numbers of the hotel, between 7 am to 8 am I had called 7 to 8 times on the numbers, but nobody received as wanted early check in. I reached hotel, they didnt allow. I told atleast call me when a room is free. Nobody called till 12.30pm. I reached hotel, checked in. They said we will take your luggage to your room. I went to the room and was waiting for 20 minutes but they didnt bring my luggage. Called them 2 times but in vain. Finally i went to reception and brought my luggage. They didnt even apologise. I understood that I made a very big mistake of booking this hotel. I had ignored many negative comments of the customers. 6) I humbly request everyone not to book room here as you would waste your money and spoil precious time here. 7) MMT should not partner with such hotels.

The staff went above and beyond to help us plan our excursions, providing helpful recommendations and booking taxis.||The spa and wellness facilities were top-notch, allowing us to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. The level of service, cleanliness, and overall quality of the experience at Hotel Grand Shiva truly exceeded expectations.||If you're looking for a luxurious and hassle-free stay, I highly recommend Hotel Grand Shiva. Absolutely Disgusting Experience - Stay Away! This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The room was filthy - there was zero cleanliness. The towels were stinking like they hadn't been washed in weeks, and the bedsheet had visible stains on it. The pillows were also giving off a foul smell, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. The bathroom was another nightmare - the exhaust fan was broken, making the whole place damp and unbearable. To make things worse, there was no service at all. No one came to clean the room, no one answered calls, and when I tried to speak to the manager, he was extremely rude and dismissive. It's shocking how this place has any good reviews at all - they must be fake. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. Save your money and your sanity - do NOT book here.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The food was absolutely delicious--every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options, and the dinner menu was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure that I felt welcomed and comfortable. I was traveling with my family, including two young children, and had chosen this property expecting a comfortable and hassle-free stay. However, the experience was extremely disappointing due to the following issues: * Delay in check-in by more than an hour, which was exhausting, especially with kids. * Did not receive the rooms I had selected during booking. * Air conditioning was not working in the allotted rooms. * The washroom door was jammed and would not open properly. * The flush in the washroom was not functional. * The room had a foul and unpleasant smell, making it uncomfortable to stay in. This situation caused a great deal of distress to my family and completely ruined our experience. Given the condition of the property and the failure to provide basic amenities as promised in the booking policy

Worse hotel I have ever stayed. Rooms were worse,not at all maintained,auroma just like rotten food. Bathroom fittings not proper,and bathroom size like a cabinet. Staff very unprofessional and untrained,keep arguing with coustomer. Food quality very bad,even street food is better. Breakfast even more worse in quality, variety and taste. I don't recommend to stay here....
