Hotel Ashoka De Grand

Nice and clean rooms, staff is good.

All other facilities are fine, but it is important for the hotel to have power backup at night. The management should make arrangements for a power back-up because ACs stop working when the power goes out at night.

One of my worst experiences was at this hotel. All the staff here is the worst. On top of that the manager is literally a thief . Biggest scammers. Save your money,time and trip by not choosing this property.

Pathetic experience hotel staff was good but the owner was very rude. All door locks were not working properly including the bathroom tabs. While using tab it comes out and hotel owner was very angry & misbehaved and blame us for the damages. That time he ask Rs500 for the damage charges but while check out he charged 1200. Strongly not recommended to anyone at this cost you can get a better place with better services.

The guy sitting on Reception was very rude. Even he wasn't interested to get the room booked when I called him. He disconnected my call while talking. I had to call him back to ask " man why you disconnected the call in the mid of conversation? ". He was rude throughout. Room Service staff was all right. I checked out in the morning at 5, they asked me to pay at night. Nobody was there while I was leaving. I tried to find someone at the reception but nobody listened to me. There was no lift so I had to get my all luggage down myself. Pathetic service. Not recommended at all.

This hotel is the worst one in Haldwani ....Hotel owner is very rude & inefficient person. Even he has no sense to manage his staff.... No sense to talk to his customers. Rooms are worst quality...water taps are broken and bed sheets are very dirty.. Very bad ambiance... pathetic. it is not at all matching with the price. On the whole It was a bad experience for our first time stay.... guys don't book this hotel at all......
