Staying at this homestay in India was an unforgettable experience! The family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the start. Akhil was such a delight--friendly, helpful, and full of positive energy. The hospitality, delicious home-cooked meals, and genuine kindness made this stay truly special. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming experience!

Where to begin? Akhil and his mother Aunty Meena went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful time in Uttarkashi. I spent 10 days here and it was some of my best days in India, we also celebrated Holi festival together. They welcomed me like their own daughter. I felt so safe and content in their beautiful Homestay. Views of the Himalayas on the rooftop, which is also an epic place to practice morning yoga and meditation and the Homestay is 5 minute walk to beautiful Mama Ganga. Akhil helped me with planning a great itinerary in Uttarkashi, with trekking, temple visits, visiting Harshil and Gangotri. A very heartwarming and spiritual experience. If you need anything Akhil and Aunty will do their best to make it happen. Aunty makes the most amazing home cooked foods - fresh and healthy, a lot of foraged from the jungle or bought from a local organic farm. Aunty always made sure I had a tea in hand too. I couldn't recommend this Homestay enough. It really is a home. Thank you Akhil and Aunty till next time

I along with team recently stayed at a beautiful camp along the banks of the Bhagirathi River and had an unforgettable experience. The tent rooms were spacious, extremely neat, and could comfortably accommodate 3 to 4 people, making it ideal for both families and small groups. The location, right next to the river, added to the serene ambiance, offering stunning views and the soothing sound of flowing water. The food was excellent, with a variety of delicious, well-prepared meals that exceeded expectations. The staff were courteous, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat in nature!

The location is perfect for nature lovers--surrounded by lush greenery and the majestic mountains. I enjoyed morning walks along the riverbank and soaking in the breathtaking scenery. Great place to rest, in a very peaceful atmosphere, with a beautiful garden and a rooftop. The hosts are super nice and helpful, and are interested in sharing activities and moments with the guests. The meals are delicious. The house is located near the Ganga. We would definitely come back. Thank you for everything!
