Rajaji Retreat Resort

The location is near the river and walking distance from the main road, The overall set up of the resort is gud with ample free space, a playing area, a working swimming pool, and sufficient parking space. Rooms were clean, linen was also clean but the washroom had choked drainage so there was all water logged while bathing. Dinner was good but breakfast was not at all good. Avoid booking breakfast included options during booking because they don't have any options other than paratha and poha. It's better to order on a paid a la carte basis then they provide you all options. verdict: decent stay for a day trip Most importantly, for negative reviews their reply is great , they deny that you stayed at their place rather than improving on those aspects.

A fine place to spend the vacations if you want a quiet and staycation type feel.. the location is great and it feels like a good resort... Food was not that good but options are available for food.. rooms were also of fine quality... Overall a beautiful place to spend 1-2 days on the outskirts of rishikesh Book in advance

We loved our stay! Everyone had exceeded our expectations and was the very most hospitable. I regretted not going sooner. Rohit was patient with us and very willing to share his knowledge of the natural area. He even took us on a couple of walks around the surrounding area. |This was also the cleanest resort/hotel that we stayed at in our three weeks in India. Beds and floors were very clean. A lot of pride was taken in taking care of their lawn, garden and pool. Staff was passionate about their work and premises.|If I ever come back to this side of the planet, I will absolutely return to Rajaji retreat.

This resort is inside the reserved forest area, so it's very secluded from the main city and the area is still developing so there are no shops, you can get a maggie point but for that you have to walk on a steep road amidst the Jungle. There is no public transport and the resort is 1 km away from the main road. It's very far away from Rishikesh, so if you are planning your trip to Rishikesh I will not recommend booking this place. The room in which I stayed had a water logging problem which was a very unpleasant experience. The resort has a garden, swing and swimming pool, the staff is polite and courteous. Because it's secluded inside the jungle you will not find local eating joints you have to be dependent on resort kitchen food which is very expensive for a budget traveller. This place is still developing so not much option here and for Ganga ghat you have to drive 30 mins, to either Rishikesh or Haridwar, there is nothing to visit near the resort. If you want to do a jungle safari then it might be a choice of stay. For people exploring the place by public transport can have a hard time here, so plan accordingly.

It was a great stay with my students for Spiritual Retreat . Food was yummy.... Can't forget it . Owner is very supportive and knowledgeable. I will surely come to this place again .... To experience the serenity of this place.

This is one amazing location and an ideal resort for wildlife lovers. The location is close to safari gates and also near the forest where you can do birding and also spot wildlife. The staff is courteous and amazibg food is very good. Will travel again soon.

Service is the best, all staff are very cooperative and humble, garden is well managed, rooms are so clean. food is amazing, very tasty hygienic.

Place is very good ,I like the rooms as well and the thing I liked the most was the service,helped with everything and did everything without delay. Swimming pool was good for children and adults and clean too.
