A nice, calm hotel atop a hill. Vinay Ji is a great host, very down to earth and open. He's very soft spoken, listens to our needs carefully and always readu to help. Only that he gets a bit busy in the weekend afternoons, when the tourists from nearby places/resorts visit the area (though not in large numbers). Location is superb, serene, amazing! Most of the times you'll be all alone on top of a hill. Charekh village is some 500 metres down the hill and a well built footway leading to the village offers great views (Pls note: gradient is quite steep). The place will become a bit lively in the mornigs when the villagers gather to catch jeeps to Kotdwar for work or to sell their agri produce, much like a feel-good village movie setup. It's like going back in time, rewinding to unwind! Charak rishi idol in bang next to the hotel. Half a kilometre trek would lead you to a temple on top of the hill which also offers great views. Talking about the room, it was surprisingly spacious and decently finished. Bedding and pillows were on the stiffer side and I liked it very much. Most of the time, however, we were in the open areas having food, watching kids play or just enjoying the views of sunset/sunrise/misty breeze. Footnote: 1. Mobile network coverage is not good, except for Jio (which has decent coverage there). 2. There's a mountain stream on the way, just a few hundred meters the hotel. The water tastes amazing! Very nice location neat and clean , so clam place. ||Very nice staff and delicious food ,||Few authentic dishes also you can ask in advance they prepare. ||Like kandali saag , mulle ki thichondi.||You can go small treck to charekh danda and see beautiful Himalayas view. Entire kotdwar view.||Very nice sun rise view you can get from hotel front gate .

This review is based on my own experience. Staying at this place was most memorable. It is a very beautiful place covered by green mountains. Rooms are very beautiful and clean. The staff service was very good. Staff was quick to assist. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Its so peaceful over there. I will definitely go again in future.
