If you are looking for an unique experience in the hills then I highly recommend Maakot Hills Eco Camp.|Its a beautiful camp located at an amazing and offbeat location.|The tents (accommodation) are spaceous and hygienic. The washrooms are clean and well maintained.|The homely meals here are literally the best I have had so far in any property. They also provided me with local Kumaoni dishes which were so delicious. Apart from the good food the other perks of choosing Maakot is the mesmerizing view of the Himalayas, the amazing sunsets and the lovely staff. Their hospitality is so good that I did not have any problem during my stay here. The host here helps you with everything and you can really feel the comfort of your home here.|Would genuinely 100% recommend this to anyone who is looking for the best experience in the hills. The stay here is a value for money!||

A perfect vacation getaway with Maakot Hills Eco Camp The surroundings of the camp are so mesmerizing. From beautiful sunsets to the stunning valley view, everything made my vacation so perfect. The service of the staff was commendable and the humble nature of the owner will surely make me come back for another trip. Overall it was a wonderful experience and if you want to spend some time with nature then this is the place for you!

Had a very delightful stay at Maakot Hills Eco Camp. The beautiful landscape view of the mountains, mesmerizing sunsets and the view of the Himalayas made my stay so unique and wonderful. The accommodation is very comfortable and clean. Loved the food here and their hospitality is one of the best thing about them. I highly recommend the place and would definitely visit here again.

Amazing experience of nature, adventure and fun. If you are a true nature lover, adventurous and fun loving person Maakot Hills a perfect and must go destination for you. There you gonna get beautiful view of Sunrise, sunset and Himalayas. During winter season you can enjoy fresh snow fall and mountains full of snow. Mountain Trekking, sidewalk into the nearby Jungles and familiarisation of wild animals,local villages and people are extra activities you gonna have there in the supervision of well experienced guides. So I personally suggest you must once visit there.

We had been looking for a unique experience for our daughter and happened to chance upon Maakot Hills Eco Camp. Not too far and not too close to NCR, it was a perfect drive time of approx 7.5hrs (with pit stops).||||We were greeted by the awesome hosts - Deepak and Myank. Deepak is a book of knowledge and Myank is absolute fun and my daughter hit it off with both of them immediately.||||The view from Maakot Hills is breathtaking. You can see the Snow covered Himalayan peaks. The sunrises are beautiful here. It appears as if the peaks are on fire during Sunrise. Mobile phones cannot do justice to this view. Getting a semi professional/professional camera is a must here. Sunsets are no less and the colour show is brilliant.||||One can go for a trek in the hills, or just a lazy walk in the adjoining forest or just laze at the camp the whole day, whatever takes your fancy. Request for a campfire in the evening. Animals like Sambhar, come visiting in the night. The host are knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and it's a learning experience, especially for the kids.||||The food is simple yet tasty. My daughter was introduced to "aaloo kae gutkae" and she loves it now. She also went for a "Village walk" and learned about how life is still very tough in the hills. ||||There are places close by which can be visited during the day. But we opted out of it as we just wanted to relax.||||This place is ideal not only for families but groups of friends as well.

I'm a big mountain person, and staying in Maakot Hills Eco camp literally made me realize how much I've been missing. It was one of my favorite places to stay in and would love to visit some time soon. ||The staff and the management really was warming, made me feel like I was at home. The views mesmerized by views and was lucky enough to have beautiful view of the Mighty Himalayas

Very nice and calm place. Best place to enjoy Holiday like mountain life. We have visited here in June 2022 it's our bad luck because of forest fire we couldn't enjoy himalay view. But we enjoy here very much. But in rainy and winter season anyone can enjoy himalay view and if visitor is lucky then he can enjoy snow fall. Mr mayank(co owner) is very cooperative and very helping in nature.

If you're actually looking for some quiet and peaceful time, I must say this place in the lap of nature though lesser known is calm among chaos and a must try. There's actually not just one reason to be here but many. To begin with- # If you are a Dendrophile or an Opacarophile or for God's sake any phile that has to do with nature, your thirst for that phile will be quenched here. # The nature walks in the areas close by are not just mood elevators but helps you rejuvenate your soul as well. # The amiable staff and the humble incharges and their hospitality are all the more reason to pay a visit. Always available at your beck and call. # Food that's as if you've carried your homecooked tiffin along. Infact the traditional kumaoni spices gives you additional flavours to enhance your taste buds. # The seasonal, juicy and fresh fruits plucked straight from the trees will help you relive your childhood. # The tents are pretty comfortable with neat and clean beddings and are equipped with all the amenities . Well, I had a great time during my stay and would not mind revisiting a number of times.
