Maatidera Kanatal

We enjoyed a comfortable family stay at this property, which is about six months old. The manager and staff were very helpful, and the views were beautiful. Be aware that there's a 300-meter incline walk from the main road. However, the property is well worth the climb. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the heater and warm water, especially in the cold. Recommended for families.

We had a great time. Be prepared for a small trail of 150mtr to reach something which is worth exploring. Food was really good but with some limitations of course. This is the area they have to improve upon. Service was really good and very friendly staff.

Maatidera Resort is a wonderful place to stay. This resort in Kanatal is situated at a very peaceful place. One can go and refresh themselves within the surroundings and the beautiful mountain view that this place provides. Resort is near to famous Surkanda Devi temple. Manager and resort staff are very nice, polite, friendly promising a commitment to hospitality. They treat their guests extremely well. Resort provides all amenities and facilities. Rooms were spacious enough with a balcony and the backside opens to a staircase farm. Food was delicious. Guests are greeted with welcome drink. We enjoyed breakfast in open sunny lawn. Resort also has a space for children with some swings and sliders. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would prefer to stay again whenever we plan to visit Kanatal.

Perfect stay in Kanatal. Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Had a wonderful stay at Maatidera. Located on a beautiful hilltop with the most beautiful view of the himalayan range. Requires a 150m hike to reach which made it even more beautiful. Service was amazing. Food was really good with them serving pahadi food as well. The rooms were so clean and made of mud with all the basic amenities included. It was a wonderful experience. Would 10/10 visit again!
