Hotel Pious Ganga

Rooms :- Dirty and not well maintained, first room I was to stay in had insects due to which I had to change my room. This room has alot of dirt plus the washroom stinks. Service :- I ordered food and I must say that this was the worst food I have had till date. Location :- All the nearby locations/hotels /resorts give you a direct view of the Alaknanda- Bhagirathi Sangam whereas no such service is available from this place. A poor place to stay in, would not even recommend to my enemies.

I stayed in this hotel with my family for one night. It was a very nice experience. The behaviour of the staff here was very good and the room rates are also very good.

No ventilation bathrooms were smelling bad. On road traffic will not let you sleep.

I stayed at Pious Ganga, Devprayag for 2 days. The view is really beautiful here facing Maa Ganga & big mountain valley and once the evening sets in the lighting of Sanskrit University makes the view like a heaven, pure beauty. Devprayag sangam is just 10/12 minutes walk from the hotel & they have their own parking with cameras facing the road which makes it more safe for tourists with cars. Rooms are nice and clean, washrooms were clean & bedsheets were also clean & washed, have constant supply of hot water and electricity. Overall a great stay for the price & beautiful view, near the sangam, food served was also nice. Only suggestion: Please add some more varieties of food for lunch & dinner.

Nice place to stay overnight while travelling for chardham yatra. It is on mainroad and have parking space. Rooms are spacious and have restaurants too

It's a decent hotel and nominal price.Highly recommended for backpackers. They also offer veg food. The view from the rooms is beautiful and is worth spending a day here. Viewpoint and Sangam ghat is walkable from hotel. If you're travelling from Rishikesh, then you can get down in front of the hotel(if requested). Petrol bunk and few shops are nearby.

Good place for dining. Food was homely, light and freshly made. Restaurant has a lovely view of the river.

Please don't go for positive reviews. We have a terrible experience while we stayed there. We were visiting Kedarnath Shrine and that hotel has been recommended by someone to us, So, while coming to hotel we pre-booked the hotel via telephonic conversation with the Owner itself. Due to the traffic jam on rishikesh highway, we got late and we reached the hotel around 8 in the night. We were complacent that we have rooms booked. But on reaching there, they raised the room price to a new high. They must have calculated that during this time of night its difficult for us to find the room elsewhere. The owner was not present there so we called him but he didn't heed to the request. Finally, we decided to take the rooms at new high price as we have old members in the family. But we vowed not to come again in this hotel and the we communicated this to the owner that owing to our need we are staying for now, but neither we will come nor we recommend this to anyone. Finally, I agree with the some reviews that the other staff was supportive and good. For them 1 star. Didn't expected this from someone from Army background.
