Serene Sinola Homestay

Nice quiet place in an old farmhouse surrounded with greenery and with nice walks around mango and litchi orchards close by. You can see Mussoorie above from the gate. The cook makes good home cooked meals on order. The host is responsive. The WiFi is good.

Extremely cute property. Very hospitable. The staff (Chotu Bhaiya) was very helpful as well. The meals were very homely and were served on time as per our specification. The room and the amenities were perfect. ||Dhruv and his dad were excellent hosts. I would definitely stay here on my next visit to Dehradun. Pretty close to a lot of good eateries too.

Serene, true to its name, is a quaint cottage that transports you to the English way. Coloured walls, flowery drapes and old-school furniture makes it warm and fuzzy. ||Being an interior designer, I instantly fell in love with the way it was done up by the hosts. ||In a secluded part of Doon valley, surrounded by the forest and greens, it welcomes you with great hospitality. ||Dhruv is a gracious host who ensures your stay is comfortable. ||Chotu, the caretaker, is an excellent cook who made fresh home cooked meals for us everyday. ||Highly recommend the stay for anyone who wants a taste of the Doon valley.

I visited the Sinaula property with my friend in October. ||||Dhruv was a wonderful host and the property was gorgeous. Nestled between greenery, quiet and peaceful, yet well connected. The room was warm and beautifully curated.||||Dhruv was extremely helpful and came to our rescue multiple times, as we explored the city and were figuring our way around. He recommended some wonderful cafes and nearby hikes which turned out to be an excellent idea for the short while that we were in Doon. Chotu, their house-help is also an excellent cook and made sure we were comfortable.||||I'd highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a cosy old-world-charm walla getaway in Doon. Would love to visit it again and stay back for longer!

Are you looking for a comfortable budget friendly place to stay in dehradun to just enjoy the peace and chirping birds and forest greens |We tried not to stay in a hotel and try this cozy home stay .|We are at Serene Dehradoon at sinola forest homes . ||The cottage has two rooms and one bath and one outdoor shower and one small kitchen . Thr helper comes prepare breakfast and tea for you in your cottage . They will give you free WiFi if you ask for .. no dinners here only order online if needed or inform the caretaker before 5pm .. |finding it is a little difficult but they give you good directions .. we are here for two nights and really loving it |It's on sinola road - really close to the zoo and robbers cave .|Rating |cottage 4/5|Service 4.5/5|Location 3.5/5 (finding it in the night was a task )

The place is home away from home and gives a very peaceful vibe with lush greenery around. The place is beautiful with most amenities available. The host Dhruv, was very helpful and gave good suggestions for eat out. Special mentions to Jagdish bhaiya and his tasty paranthas.

One of the best places created to live in the beautiful hills of Dehradun. It has all the facilities one could ever ask for any place. Owner and caretaker takes care of all your needs and makes u feel at home. Located near the prime area of Dehradun and also a very safe place to live. ||If you want to have your own personal space and wants to live in a independent cottage, then this is the place for you.||Thanks again Dhruv and his team for making us feel at home.
