Beautiful & a quiet space. Stayed here for 2 nights, and it was extremely comfortable. Raj was great as a host, got us breakfast every morning. Rooms are a little small but the rest of the property is well built and pretty with trees and flowers. Would definitely come back and stay here for long.

I stayed at a homestay in a beautiful location. The garden was peaceful, and the rooms had a nice old-school charm. At night, the lights made everything look amazing. The room service was also very good. It was a lovely stay.

What an incredible stay at OBH !!!! Everything about the property was exceptional . Clean cosy asthetic rooms with excellent service , Place is just like picture shown .Surroundings are so calming , It seems every corner was telling a story . Location is perfect walking distance from Diablo , Foresta and local market and have the lovely river nearby to walk to. All the rooms have vintage vibe which i found more intresting then usual hotel art . Tea, Poha. Paranthas served by Raj were delicious. There are few cute kitties who would love to be friends with you . I can keep writing about the property but in nut shell its home away from home

A bad hotel at Mussoorie led us to booking this place in Dehradun at the last minute. The booking was accepted immediately. What attracted us was the Old world charm and the property delivered exactly that. The hosts are an old couple who live in this 130yr old bungalow and adjoining this are the rooms for guests. It was squeaky clean, kitchen was fully equipped and a beautiful garden to walk around. The best part was that our dog felt at home right when we arrived and was super cool even we had to leave her alone. The house is very peaceful, serene and takes you back. Not to forget the very sweet hosts and the caretaker Raj who whipped up a yum breakfast and was super helpful.

Amidst all the new buildings and the development OBH has it's own charm mostly highlighted by the warn reception of Sehgal family . The food is simple and home like and the warmth of Mrs and Mr Sehgal would make you feel at home.There are family rooms, larger rooms as well as basic accommodations with attached bathrooms in each as well as a large lawn in front for you to stroll and talk around Harshit is very kind and he would be the point of contact and he would make you help you to make the choice ot the room and even help you with plans of Dehradun to explore .

Excellent ambiance for travellers with children and furry pets. The Old British House is exceptionally located in the city with a great access to the sigh-seeing around. This facility is for those looking for some calmness to unwind over weekend or staycation and want to avoid the hustle and hustle of the noise in the city. The budget compact rooms compliment the ornamental gardens to walk around after a tiring day outdoors. This property has some visitors from chirping birds, bees and for entertainment. A cool open space to sit around and spend time reading with your coffee, you can bring your mats to sunbathe or shelter. The Old British House is only 8 kms from Clock Tower and closer on way to Mussoorie road. The house next to main Rajpur road has a great access for a full/half day sight-seeing if you have your own vehicle or want to rent a two or four wheeler. There's a modification garage Detailing Devils nearby. I landed up very late at night along with my paw kid and was received with warmth from the host. I planned for a night and overstayed due to the relaxing ambiance, this is our repeat visit. It's rare to see how history is preserved to experience homely vibes in a growing city. Okay!!! I have to write so much about this place. This is such a beautiful, old school property with such picturesque skiesss...... Oooooffffff can't even express how beautiful the property is!!!! It has beautiful British style rooms and the lawn is so adorable with lots of plants and a swing right in the middle. When you enter the galli, you might be in doubt where is the google map taking you but trust me, that is leading you to the best property. The caretaker was very helpful and the food he made was amazing. Basic Dal chawal also tasted heaven under the beautiful star filled night sky. Experience it yourself!!!!!!
