Hotel Royal Palm

Our experience was good we have booked it twice for our group of 18 ladies who were traveling to Dehradun to go further to Uttarkashi for trekking. We were very sceptical while booking initially as we were worried about the services and safety. But when we reached there, the staff, the hotel, their food and services everything was great. We have a lovely time during both the stays. We needed early morning breakfast as per flight schedule and it was also adjusted well by them. The behavior of the staff was also very nice. Ankit, Rahul, Neeraj.... Everyone was great The only bad thing was, I have left/lost my jacket at the hotel which I realised after coming back and on enquiring they couldn't help to find it and give back. They said they have only 3 days camera feed. We had photos in our phone which showed jacket at the hotel and not wearing it while leaving too and luggage was opened only when we were back home so that is for sure that the jacket was lost at the hotel only. So apart from this bad experience everything else is perfect.

Overall Experience: It was okay. Pros: The hotel is in a good location. It is quite large compared to others in the area and well-decorated. The staff was good and well-behaved. Cons: The room we got was quite small and cozy, even though we had booked a Deluxe room. Breakfast has a good menu, but it is not served as a buffet, which is unusual. I recommend booking this place but only including breakfast--do not opt for lunch or dinner in your booking.

This hotel's location is good , lots of amenities outside. Rooms are good . The service they are providing is really satisfying. We include breakfast while booking. Their food quality is really appreciable. It's like homemade food.

The room is well maintained. Very helpful staff. And their kitchen serves awesome food! We even packed paratas for our flight!

I was on my tour to Uttarakhand last week . I went to Dehradun from Delhi and checked into this hotel last week . Mr. Ankit , the hotel Manager overthere was extremely receptive and helpful. He arranged an early check-in for me and alloted an extremely good and spacious room for me .. The Bed was huge ( 6.5 x 6 ft ) and extremely clean . I had a very relaxing / comfortable sleep that night after a very long travel. Thank you Mr. Ankit for all your support on all aspects .. The breakfast was also good . ( Parathas , Poha and Coffee) . They have a good parking space also.

A Good place but be aware international cards don't work here. Don't book on AGODA as may be sublet to partner Booking and rate may be slightly different. Those were our only difficulties. Taxis can be arranged and will be on time. About an hour from airport, but reaches its own area of city which was very convenient for us to walk most places. Good solid and varied breakfast included.

We stayed for a day to catch flight from Dehradun. The cleanliness is much less. No restaurant and dining area in this hotel, and all foods were served in rooms, food was not at all fresh, very limited options and food items are overly priced. No water was provided, purchased water bottles. Continuous calls from reception to check out at 11 am.

Located on the Canal Road, Hotel Royal Palm is a good option if you're looking for a place to spend the night. The staff was hospitable and seemed well trained. The charges seem a bit up the top based on the location of the place. The rooms are spacious with good lighting, and basic necessities. We had Paranthas and Puri Bhaji for breakfast, it tasted good. The place has basement and front parking so you don't have to worry about that.
