We have old memories attached with Hotel Aketa as we got married here more than three decades back. Recently my son's wedding reception was held here. The location and ambience of the property is very good. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The food quality is very good. The cleanliness in and around the property was very good. They have ample parking space also.

I had a pleasure to stay at Hotel Aketa for a week. Had wonderful staff around who polite and caring. After getting sick from eating Gol gappe form the streets, Chef Ramesh personally took time for me to make special light breakfast and lunch. He also accompanied me when i was having breakfast alone at the table. He is truly a great Chef, I also got some recipes . Will definitely come back for Chef Ramesh if nothing else. We had an excellent trip. The hotel is located on the main Rajpur road and is close to the best restaurants in Dehradun. We could also easily access all the tourist spots from Aketa. The hotel has excellent service. Their bakery has exquisite confectionery, and really tasty food. The room service was excellent. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. A special mention to Chef Ramesh who made us excellent waffles at breakfast. An elderly gentleman at the breakfast area and the one who assisted with our luggage were really helpful and made our experience even better. Can't wait to come back again to Hotel Aketa.

We hosted our entire wedding at Aketa & booked out the entire hotel. Right from the hospitality to the staff, to the food, to the room cleanliness, every thing was top notch, their cooperation was great, much better than any 5 star property. The decor, the hall, the gardens, ample parking and open space everything added to the amazing experience. Guests as well as we the hosts were more than happy. Best venue in dehradun to host a wedding or any celebration, more than recommended

Superb total experience from beginning to end. Well received on arrival by desk manager himself. Staff courteous, responsive, and efficient. Appreciated wide platform to unpack and store luggage. Appointments were clean and modern. Central location in Dehra Dun. Highly recommend hotel to others.
