Fairfield by Marriott Dehradun

I had an amazing stay at Fairfield by Marriott Dehradun! The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with stunning views of the hills & neighborhood - a perfect start to each day. The breakfast options were fantastic, with a great variety of dishes, including local specialties, which made the experience even more authentic. I was particularly impressed with how the hotel catered to Navratri fasts, offering thoughtful meal options that were in line with the dietary needs. Another highlight was the availability of midnight food options - such a convenient and appreciated touch. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Dehradun!

We stayed here for Four nights. As the hotel was having high occupancy we were able to book only standard rooms with split beds. The rooms were good , spacious and the beds were quite good and comfortable. The rooms were clean. The Ac in the rooms is not very adjustable and the Temperature control was not possible despite calling the in house engineer. The VRV/HVAC system needs tuning. The check in was little problematic due to delay in room preparation by housekeeping and check out was smooth. The housekeeping needs to be more interactive and positive. Despite this the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. |The Breakfast spread was quite good and the live counters good and fast. We were taken good care by Chef Naveen and Sumit. We had most of our meals ala carte and enjoyed the food. The Thai Green curry was outstanding. Chef Naveen proposed us to try Pahaadi Mutton for dinner and we found it delicious. |The hotel staff are welcoming and nice. The Gym is good but they have no Spa. Some days the dining area becomes noisy due to poolside party . Overall it was a good stay and good value for money.

We had an incredible experience hosting our wedding at the Marriott. Vivek Rawat from the sales team led our event and did an outstanding job. We felt truly fortunate to have him guide us through the entire wedding process--he made everything seamless and stress-free. I recently stayed at Fairfield by Marriott, Dehradun, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I checked in, issues began to arise. 1. Unclean Room: Upon entering my assigned room, I discovered that it had not been cleaned after the previous guest's checkout. Used towels were left crumpled, water bottles were half-empty, glasses appeared used, and even the toiletries were completely empty. This was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. 2. Lack of Prompt Service: I called the reception to report the cleanliness issue, and the receptionist assured me it would be addressed immediately. However, after waiting for over 30 minutes, no one arrived to resolve the matter. This lack of responsiveness further added to my dissatisfaction. 3. Unattended Live Breakfast Counter: The buffet breakfast service was another area of concern. The live counter was unattended, and despite standing there and waiting for assistance, none of the staff approached or offered help. This showed a clear lack of attention to guest experience. The overall lack of basic cleanliness, poor service, and inattentiveness to guest needs significantly marred my stay. I hope the management takes serious steps to address these issues to improve their standards for future guests.

Our recent stay at Fairfield by Marriott Dehradun couldn't quite live up to the expectations -- especially for a name as reputed as Marriott. While the property looks appealing from the outside, the experience didn't reflect the smoothness and service excellence that the brand is known for.||||Right from the beginning, things didn't go as planned. I had specifically mentioned -- both while booking and over the phone -- that our rooms should be adjacent or at least on the same floor. Unfortunately, that request was overlooked. What followed was a long series of follow-ups just to get rooms closer together. Even the luggage took a surprisingly long time to reach our room, as it seemed like there was a shortage of staff -- the same team members appeared to be handling multiple responsibilities at once.||||But amidst the disappointments, one person truly made a difference -- Miss Anjali, from Kinnaur (as far as I know). She went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of, handled every situation with a smile, and was genuinely committed to ensuring our comfort despite the odds. Her support stood out as a shining example of what true hospitality looks like, and I genuinely hope the management acknowledges and appreciates her efforts.||||I had also requested a change from a valley view room to the same category without the view -- simply because I wasn't comfortable -- but due to the hotel being sold out, it couldn't be arranged. Even before arrival, making a reservation was a task in itself. There was no clear point of contact, and after back-and-forth communication, I finally booked through the app -- losing out on any special benefits or discounts despite being a Marriott member.||||To sum it up: the stay didn't go as expected, and for a name like Marriott, that in itself says a lot. Still, I'll remember Miss Anjali's kindness and helpful nature -- she was the one bright spot in an otherwise inconsistent experience.

One word. Amazing. Buffet was one of the best I have had for a long time. Species were well balanced, choice of food was excellent, ambience was terrific and staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Rooms were well presented and reception was well mannered and adequate Highly recommended if you are in Dehradun, it's a no brainer

Fairfield by Marriott Dehradun is one of the best hotels in Dehradun. Our hotel room was spacious with a great view of the mountains. Service was good and food was excellent. The highpoint was the excellent menu for both breakfast and dinner, where you can always find something of your own choice. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and liked to stay here again in future.
