Went to Dehradun on official trip and found this hotel thru one of the booking sites. Hotel is ideally located arnd 1 km from the Bus Stand. The room & the bathroom sizea are good on the ground floor. The rooms on the top floor have small bathrooms. The staff was courteous except 01 guy in the kitchen (Mr VIJENDRA). ||||Rest the stay was nice and rooms were pretty clean.
This is mid range hotel situated on corner of the city near to Inter state bus terminal so if you do not have anything to do with city center than it can be a good choice since its has got good connectivity to highways and other important roads of uttarakhand. Hotel is comparatively small in size may be with 10-15 rooms. I had stayed there for two nights and in entire hotel was solo guest ;-). ||||Rooms and bathrooms are somewhat big in size and clean.||||Bed and linen was very much comfortable. Had only breakfast in the hotel which was okayish kind of.||||Staff was courteous and friendly. ||||Tariffs paid was around Rs 2,000.00 for standard room all inclusive.
We had booked this hotel, basis its locality and the pictures put on OYO. We really thought it as a premium hotel and didn't mind paying the high charges. When we reached the hotel, we couldn't really locate it. There was no sign board apart from oyo painted on the wall. When we asked the guard, he directed us to a small corner which was their reception. We were 3 of us and needed a spacious room. The manager told us that there were 2 rooms, and we could select whichever room we wanted. He sent the guard with us to see the 2 rooms. The first room we saw was on the ground floor, with a king size bed. He promised us that he would arrange for a mattress for the third person. We decided to check the other room. The other room was on the chhajja floor. We initially liked the room, although it had no windows at all, we decided to go with it as it had a king bed and a single bed, perfect for us. We settled there for a bit but then realised, the room was bang opposite the staff quarter, which looked like a very shady room. The look to the door didn't lock and the landline in the room wasn't working either. Hence we decided to take up the room on the ground floor eventually. there was no one to help us to transfer the bags from one room to the other.||||We moved to our new room and immediately realised, this room was equally bad.I am attaching pictures of the condition of the room. Also mentioning below why I have rated this hotel as terrible.||||1. The room and furniture had gathered dust||2. The tiles had ripped off||3. The tiles in the bathroom were dirty||4. The paint on the wall had chipped off||5. The flush had broken||6. There was no jet spray to the WC||7. There was a used soap, with a stray hair on the soap, on the soap holder||8. There was no open window. The existing window was covered with plasticky sheets, and a TV was hung against it. There were open areas in the corners of these sheets, which butchered our privacy||9. The only wardrobe in the room didn't shut. It remained open for the whole time||10. The bedsheets were not clean. The cover on the razai didn't shut close. There were holes on the bedsheet covers. My mom didn't sleep the whole night as she was freaking out||11. The path towards the room was extremely shady||12. When we were leaving the room, there was a short circuit in the room||13. We never got an extra bedding for the third person and we all had to squeeze on that one king size bed||14. No free WiFi, made it worse||||I paid hell lot of money for the service I got in the hotel. I feel cheated !!!
Stayed here while visiting friends in Dehradun/Clement Town. Very convenient location for this side of Dehradun - particularly the military camps and Tibetan settlement. Abe (?) the gentleman on reception and the young lady working with him were both very friendly, efficient and went the extra yard to help make sure everything was fine with the stay. The room was large, clean and had both aircon and a fan - useful given how hot this Spring has been in India. There was no need for hot water since daytime temperatures have been so high, though waking at 5.30 am for a meeting, hot water at that hour would no doubt be useful. There's a large generator outside for when the grid power cuts out. The Queen's Pearl is easy to find, good value. The only recommendation I would make to the management is perhaps spraying rooms for mosquitos shortly before guests arrive. I would certainly stay again. Very pleasant.
Staffs are helpful in getting us two wheeler for rent. They don't have electric heater in room. Blanket is not clean. One side of bed becomes wet cause of some reason. Complementary breakfast is good. Location is far from city and I took a auto to reach this place from railway station. Auto driver is so arrogant and plucked me Rs.200.
Dirty rooms , misbehaving staff, I would never suggest this anyone
Stayed at the hotel for 4days. Very comfortable stay. Nice clean place well maintained clean room and linens. More importantly smiling staff and helpful. And lastly competitive prices. Highly recommended.
