Riverwoods Resort - In the Lap of Nature

We visited this hotel during the weekend, when we first arrived the view was awesome. A river flowing nearby makes your day, you can have a cup of coffee or tea outside your room with the sound of river water flowing through your ears and makes you feel the sensation. You can also enjoy the illegal sand mining that is happening there, and talk to the people about how much they earn by doing this and mining, along with some Jungle fruits like "Ber". The hotel was great as far as the location is concerned, however the services made it poor. Water is not free they charge you to amount for that. For breakfast you will be forced to eat three items that they cook instead of given a choice like in any three or four star hotels resort. Food was not as good as it should be, food quality and taste was quite similar to a 2 star hotels. Basic amenities like geyser was not working properly and toothpaste was not given for all persons staying in the room. If you stay 2 days in a row they do not bother to change the bed sheet or clean the room unless you demand it. They had a strict policy that you can't order before 9 am in the morning or after 9:00 p.m. in the evening. Which made our purpose of staying in the room and enjoying fruit less. It could have been better if you would have gone to some other places that we had enjoyed in the past rather than coming to this resort just by looking at the river. So the conclusion is that don't be deviated by this rating they have for their hotels because they are offering a free drink of 40 rupees if you give the five stars and that 40 rupees drink get them lot of 5 stars that's why you see them high rated however in reality I told you the truth. Service need a big over hall and change so if you love the location you can go but you love the "services" better you choose the other option.

Like the aura and the ambience that owner provided by designing the stone wall inside the room, the glass wall frames the river view perfectly from the bed. Genuine staff... Helps us alot in all tge way possible... I forgot my gold chain in the locker of the room.... The owner called and courier the same in no time... Heartily Thankful for the Riverwoods Team... We had a quick stay with friends and office colleagues.... Totally worth it.... Tasty breakfast and hot sizzling dinner served... We stayed for 6000 per stay... Riverfront stay and the staff always on their toe to make our stay more comfortable

BEST PROPERTY to stay.... MUST VISIT it you are planning to have peaceful time close to the nature.... Love the sound of the river I had a family trip and long stay in the property staff is cooperative and understanding with the requirements of the guest. Anyone who love to stay in the proximity to nature.... We booked with all inclusive package.... Tasty breakfast... Mouth watering Chhole Bhature and pasta.... Lawn is there to play and have leisure time riverside

This was an overpriced Resort @ 7000 per night with no facilities : 1.)The washroom was not properly cleaned and a very bad smell was coming from it. 2.)You won't find a hot water option for bathing in the washroom 3.)The bucket was in very bad shape. 4.)The bedsheets were very dirty. 5.)The rooms were not properly cleaned. 6.)The resort is okey okey types at a price for 2000 - 3000 per night Mr Owner if rate is 4000 and for extra bed you are charging 1000 for extra bed ,so only 1 extra folding bed was there then how can you charge 2000 extra apart from 1 extra bed. Sorry to say won't recommend anyone nor would like to visit in future

Perfect place to have peaceful vacation... Amazing view, rooms alongside the river makes it prominent... gives a panoramic view from the bed itself... excellent staff with best service.... *MUST VISIT* Breakfast buffet was great with delicious pasta and sandwiches... Although they provide breakfast at 9AM but with the mouth watering taste. I plan a Staycation there with my family. Big ***** 5 star for making my trip impeccably memorable. Worst hotel experience! All the high ratings are because they offer a free drink for a 5 star rating! Geyser was not functional. No hot water even in winters. When we told the staff and the owner, they said it was working for the guests who were there before us and it is a fresh issue which will be sorted out by morning. It wasnt sorted, so we forced them to change our room. Geyser was not fully functional in the new room as well. After waiting for 45 min for the water to heat, we got hot water only for 2-3 minutes, followed by cold water again. That evening, i heard new guests who had checked in complain that there is no hot water. When we spoke to them, we realised they had assigned them the same room which we had left that morning! And the staff and the owner told them the same thing that it was a fresh issue! Bunch of fraudsters running the place! When we asked to cancel the second night's stay due to all these issues, we were refused and the owner asked us to pay 50% of the 2nd night if we wanted to leave. The room had stained linen and dirty towels. Food is bad too. Lights of the room don't work completely. Very dim lighting. Heaters are old and work only in a specific angle. Rooms and bathrooms are smelly and need regular room freshner use to live in. Extremely poor service

It was very nice experience in Riverwood Resort. Side sceneries, food is very tasty and healthy like home cooked food , room service everything was great
