The Golden Oyster Hotel & Bar

I stayed at this hotel recently and had a mixed experience. The rooms were not well-maintained, and during rain, water seeped in from the sides of the glass windows, causing some discomfort. However, the food served was quite good, and I enjoyed the meals. The service, although friendly, was a bit slow, which could be improved. Overall, there are areas for improvement in room management and service efficiency.

I had a very bad experience staying in this hotel. First of all, when I checked in, the receptionist asked me to take another room but finally they gave me my room. The toilet in the room was dirty and the whole bathroom was wet, water was leaking from somewhere, the flush of the western toilet was not working. The TV was not working, on calling room service or reception to order anything, there was no reply. And this did not end the matter, the next day after I checked out and paid the final amount, 1 hour later I got a call from the hotel saying that you have checked out but have not made the final payment. Then I told them to check the CCTV and I also have the bill of the final amount, you first clear it from your side and then call me. So this was my review for Hotel Golden Oyster 3 Star.

Recently stayed here. It's a nice hotel. Rooms are good but not bathroom is not that cleaned. Food provided here is tasty & free. Staff is also helpful. Service is little slow.

Choosing this hotel for my brothers reception was a big mistake. Food was below average, and the groom found a piece of thread in his bread. Hotel rooms bedding was torned and third class. This hotel standards have fallen much in the past years. We got another reception here 8 years back, and it was wonderful and that was the reason for revisiting them.

Rooms was dirty washroom not cleaned properly and most important thing Hotel staff is very lazy, order anything from kitchen or Room Service and wait for 4 to 5 hours to complete, order drinking water and wait for 2 to 4 hours

Food is really amazing quality. Mr Bhandari the chef served the really delicious food with great heart. Need improve on the room quality. Much recommended for those who want to travel to Dehradun for 2-3 days.

I recently visited this hotel and the first thing i was give was the wet room , all the matteress were wet straight out of washing machine dryer not dried in sunlight. When i informed this to the staff they denied that the matteress were wet and were highly rude about it. As for the room service, if you want to get cutlery they will deliver this you in an about 30 min highly unprofessional. Just check out the photos and you will get the idea about the cleanliness of this horrible place
