Hotel The Sands

E- lock was not operational. They accessed the room with keys. Hence, safety of luggage was a concern. Mosquitoes didn't let us sleep. It was such a big problem. Lights of lift went off as soon as it's doors closes.

Booked in December off-season... Pros--> > Executive room is Good, spacious, clean. Nice table, storage, king size bed, cushioned chairs, other amenities etc. > Complimentary breakfast good and unlimited. Staff served generous quantity happily without hesitation. It was served, to us in the room; I think they also organize buffet breakfast when hotel is well occupied (probably peak season) .... menu - stuffed Aloo pyaz tandoori parantha , potato gravy sabji, indian yogurt, poha, bread pakora, sandwich, fruits, tea / coffee / milk etc. > pure veg > You can also order food from outside. Staff agreed instantly, when we asked this. Kudos staff! Well done. Very polite > Located in city, in transport nagar, dehradun > not many things to do around hotel, but you can easily get public transport nearby

Vegetarian hotel. The hotel needs to work on their menu book, the best thing about the hotel is you can bring food from outside and they are ready to help you with that as well.

Worst experience Rooms are not cleaned The staffs are not cooperative atall

Totally waste of money.booked their executive room but its my worst decision Dirty room,no electricity. Please try to avoid stay in this hotel

Exceptional service from the moment I arrived. We were greeted warmly by the staff, "Namaste." The checking experience was good Martina was efficient and took the time to talk with us about our stay and helped us. It was a very pleasant experience with wonderful food and drinks. The hotel is absolutely good.

Stayed here for a week and had a very bad experience. Poor maintainance and service. 3 times i got my room changed but same story. Rooms are ok but had issues in washrooms of all 3 rooms. You need to call reception many times for a thing to happen. Breakfast will be served only after 8:30am and I had a complimentary breakfast in which they served poori bhaji and paratas every alternate day. Staffs are polite but service is very poor. So if you want to begin your day in a fresh mood at Dehradun then please opt for some other good hotels. Overall not happy!!
