Hyatt Regency Dehradun Resort and Spa

We recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa in Dehradun and while the overall stay was comfortable, certain aspects left us disappointed--especially considering the Hyatt brand and the premium pricing.||The positives first: the room was excellent--clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Service across the hotel was professional and courteous, and the overall property design felt serene and elegant. A special mention to the Beyul restaurant, where the food was consistently delicious and beautifully presented. The mix of local and Asian cuisine was a delight, and the dining experience was one of the highlights of our stay.||However, the experience at the rooftop pool and lounge area was a major letdown. The area was open to non-resident guests, which completely defeated the purpose of staying at a high-end resort and spa. It wasn't just the crowd--it was the invasion of privacy, the noise, and even instances of non-residents smoking openly, making it very uncomfortable for hotel guests trying to relax. This space, marketed as a premium amenity, lacked the exclusivity, tranquility, and discretion one expects from such a property.||Additionally, the dental kit in the room contained toothpaste tablets, which felt like an odd choice for a luxury hotel. Small details like this really matter--especially when you're positioning the experience as elevated and premium. A traditional toothpaste tube would have been far more appropriate.||While the staff did their best and were helpful throughout. |Special mention for Siddhant, Bikash, Rajinder(Beyul), Sandeep, Imam who served us with a warm smile.||Area of improvement- A resort and spa should be about privacy, calm, and a sense of retreat--elements that were missing at times during our stay. It's clear the management needs to rethink its approach to guest-only zones and in-room standards. Most of the Luxury Resort and Spa has a strict no non-residents policy for areas like swimming pool however it was not the case here. ||This property has great potential, and with some policy adjustments and better attention to detail, it could truly deliver the exclusive experience that the Hyatt name promises.

There are not very many resorts in our country, that offer a complete package of breathtaking views, ambient surroundings, plush rooms, delicious food and excellent service levels to make for an unforgettable staycation experience. |Hyatt Dehradun delivers on all these and more! Nestled comfortably at the Mussoorie foothills, on the edge of the Malsi forest, Hyatt Dehradun is ideally located for a holiday in the hills, and we were there for our anniversary celebration. |Our room offered excellent views of the forest cover, and was well anointed. It gave us access to the club lounge, and we had an excellent experience there, thanks to the staff and Mr. Vivek Pandey, who ensured that we were well looked after , and served delectable cuisine. |The breakfast options at the all day dining were excellent, and the Chef and staff ensured that our choices were well accommodated and every request fulfilled! |A big shout out to the F and B team for their efforts! |The housekeeping staff took great care to keep our room ship shape and well stocked. ||We visited the Spa, and I must say, that the therapist did a great job in relaxing my sore muscles and opening up all the knots that seemed to have formed in my neck region! ||Any hotel, is only as good as the person at the helm, and the direction from the leadership team! Under the able stewardship of Mr. Sumit Kumar, who was always accessible, and open to feedback, the staff at this resort , serves the guests warmly and with a smile at all times, and ensures that any request is handled promptly and efficiently! |The cherry on the cake , was the fond send off that was given to us, with the team waving us goodbye, warmly! |The warmth with which Mr. Kumar and his team helped celebrate our anniversary, will stay with us for a long time. |Thank you team Hyatt Dehradun for making our stay a memorable experience!!

I have been having my meals here almost everyday. Chef Qadir has fine sense of making innovative food items. Chef literally takes care of each and every detail while making n serving meals. He is very particular with hygiene, taste and presentation. The guy is very humble, carrying a smile always that makes his delicacies even more tastier. ||Coming on to the staff - Sandip Kushwaha is well informed about drinks & extends a warm welcome to the guests. His behaviour & professional skills are praiseworthy. Himanshu at Malt Bar is pretty excellent in service and serves drinks with a smile- perhaps his style of serving enhances the taste. Shubhashish is excellent at service and does pretty well at attending guests - a very decent guy who knows his job well & is very attentive.||Overall, the entire team exhibits positive vibes that make you come again n again. Always a pleasurable experience having meals here. ||Cheers!

Wonderful services and delicious food. Rohini Suryanvanshi served us well and was very polite and professional in her dealings. thanks for the great time. We ordered few drinks I love mango and fedilicous and taste was very unique. We loved the ambience and overall vibe of the rooftop restaurant.

Since It's Inception, I am a Regular Guest at Hyatt Regency Dehradun.||||Under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Sumit Kumar (General Manager), this property continues to stand out and exceed beyond expectations. Mr. Sumit Kumar also leaves no room for Error and Effort.||||Every department from Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B and Laundry functions with Excellence. ||||Special thanks to Anupriya Biswas (Room Division Manager) for arranging a Butler for my pregnant Wife's Assistance.||||Savleen, proved to be an Excellent Butler and was always on her toes, Her Assistance is cherished for our Comfortable Stay.||||I'd also like to acknowledge Yashwant Bhandari (Laundry), Ashish and Anushka (Housekeeping Associates) for their attention and promptness.||||We are very lucky to have met Debabrata F&B Director of the Hotel , who added very a contemporary touch to our dining experience and a very special thanks to Kapil ji (Executive Chef) for the incredible Breakfast Spread and all Closely monitored Dining Needs .||||We were also fortunate to enjoy both the Sunday brunch and dinner, which were equally delightful. Also would like to thank Chef Sougato for his exquisite mutton preparation.||||Beyul (The Rooftop Bar) added a signature touch to the experience with Mr.Sandeep the restraunt Manager , Also Nitin's ( Team leader ) hospitality and exquisite cocktails were highlight of our stay , which we devoured every day ||||Will love to Return Soon to Experience the Doon Hospitality ||||Apologies and thanks in advance if missed mentioning anyone

From the moment i stepped into the hyaat . The warm welcome by the the staff . Everything at this hotel is amazing. Hospitality was top notch especially Mr. Ameesh (housekeeping) he was really polite and very helpful. Will definitely come again to visit . And will recommend this hotel to sll my family and friends

Excellent service and good food though the options at the roof top restaurant were limited. The portion size was not aligned with the money being charged. Good ambience and good music along with some act. Overall a good place to spend time with friends and family in a scenic location.

Clean luxurious hotel. Sumptuous food and well maintained restaurant. The Mountain View room at the back side is totally worth it. The infinity pool blends with the mountain. The banquet hall and ballroom is perfect for events like parties and weddings. This hotel is good for business as well as holiday purposes. The open air event hall is also very good. The buffet spreads are extravagant. The hotel is equipped with all the modern amenities.
