The Punarnava Wellness resort

We had a fantastic stay at Punarnava Resort & Spa in Dehradun. The resort is surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished, and equipped with all the necessary comforts.||The food was absolutely delicious -- the restaurant offers a great variety of dishes, and everything we tried was fresh and flavorful.||One of the highlights of our stay was the trekking experience with Harish, who was an outstanding guide. His deep knowledge of the area and love for nature made the trek truly memorable. It's an experience we would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the beautiful surroundings.||Overall, Punarnava is a place to truly unwind and enjoy -- great food, welcoming people, and a unique connection with nature. A must-visit!

Had a terrible 4 days at this venue. The location is beautiful and pristine but the rooms, service and the food really disappointed. Rooms need urgent maintenance, paint coming off, leaky washrooms and very poor housekeeping. Service is rude and terrible, even basic requests weren't responded to. Food was average at best. This is a destination wedding resort and not a wellness resort. We had 2 weddings in 3 days and they were extremely loud with music being played till 3am. Despite repeated requests the hotel staff bluntly responded saying we cannot do anything. Pls do not choose this resort if you are looking for peace and quiet. Better options at lower prices across the valley.

I recently stayed at this resort, and while the location is undeniably beautiful and serene, the experience left me feeling that it was overpriced for what it offered. At 22k per night, I expected much more in terms of amenities. For that price, we could easily stay at a luxurious 5-star property, with far more facilities and comfort. One major downside was the lack of a gym, which felt like a basic amenity that should have been included. However, the setting of the resort is peaceful and perfect for relaxation, so I appreciated the tranquility. The highlight of my stay, though, was the morning trekking session with Harish Ji. He was extremely knowledgeable about the local plants and birds, and I learned a lot during the hike. His insights truly made the experience worthwhile, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to explore the area in such a meaningful way. Overall, while the stay was enjoyable, the high price tag for limited amenities makes it hard to justify unless you're really looking for a quiet escape without the usual resort luxuries.

*Attended a 3-day wedding in late April. *Extremely poor food quality; entire family of 11 suffered from food poisoning. *Food was not tasty at all. *Host was scammed: promised a good caterer, but a low-quality local caterer was hired instead. *Wedding hall is essentially a portable shed structure, not a proper hall and the ladies washrooms near hall there are pathetic *Furniture provided was inadequate or improper. *Wedding lawn was too small for the function. *Very poor service throughout the event. *Waiters were arrogant and unprofessional. *Reception manager at the main entrance was rude and misbehaved with both the host and guests. *Location is remote; outside food or supplies require a 30-40 minute travel and there is no mobile network but they have a wifi *Strongly not recommended for wedding functions. * The main manager at the main entrance reception should be fired or taught some basic manners.

I stayed at Punarnava to attend my sister's wedding. It was an amazing experience! The location of the resort was absolutely gorgeous, nestled amid the mountains and forest. The rooms were spacious , and the staff was helpful, courteous, and humble. The food was amazing! I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Great place for a few days getaway. Food is really tasty, staff super friendly. |Executive chef, Pradeep Kumar Sharma was really friendly and warm. ||On the flip side, bed pillows need a change and maybe some mattresses too. Laundry seems a bit expensive for Mussoorie standards

The hotel was not up to the mark for a 5-star property. The rooms were okay and the view was decent, but the food was a big disappointment. Definitely not what you'd expect from a place claiming to offer a 5-star experience. The quality and taste of the food were far below expectations. Overall, wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a truly luxurious stay with good dining options.

This resort is excellent and location is too much beautiful vibe. It's very peaceful location and atmosphere. Everything is good like services and staff behaviour But only one thing food quality is not good. It is definitely a seriously issue Mostly people notice that's food quality is not good.
