The Jayalagarh is a very beautiful place for relaxation. You can listen the meditation sound of the holy rive Alaknanda. Awesome food and good services..best resort we ever visit..... Will definiatly recommend to my friends and others.....excellent services and surely visit again.... Thanx for giving such wonderful experience..

Good place for over day fun specially swimming pool in these hot chilly days.

I have been to this place in September. My daughter accompanied me for this trip. I was bit sceptical whether she would enjoy here or not, but when we reached this place we got a warm welcome by none other then Beenu and Bharat. My daughter got busy with Lalu and Kalu to cute kittens. She enjoyed tent accommodation and great hospitality by staff of this resort... This is a great place to spend some leisure time here. Would be back again..

Wonderful place. Situated on the main Badrinath Highway. Cool, calm and happening place along with the very supportive staff and delicious food. River Alaknanda and the in-house swimming pools are the major attraction of this place. Must for those who like to experience the camp life

Wonderful place for backpackers and even for local youths who wish to enjoy a pool side dinner after a refreshing and invigorating swim in the sparkling, full size 5' deep swimming pool. Food quality is very good. Veg and non-veg items are there in the menu. Alcohol is not served here but if a guest brings his / her own, the resort people didn't seem to object to it. As a backpacker traveler, I stayed there for two nights and used it as a base for daytime excursion - Srinagar, Pauri, Khirsu and jungle trail etc. The resort is on the right bank of Alaknanda river and I witnessed two persons catching fish in the river and bringing them to the resort manager for sale. There is ample space available for different activities There are 10 tents with 2 beds in each. Badminton court is there. There are 4 sets of toilets and shower rooms adjacent to these tents. The weather is particularly good these days with cool nights. You can bring your two-wheelers at the resort but have to leave car on the Srinagar - Devprayag highway itself which is considered safe there even though unattended. Actually, there is no proper approach road good enough for cars. Overall, it is a nice place as a weekend getaway or for those who are on their pilgrimage to Char dham yatra. Coming from Delhi / NCR they can break their journey and resume next day morning. The footfall has been impacted adversely because of COVID related lockdown but the property has survived.

The Jayalgarh Resort : A little heaven for every Nature lover. The Jayalgarh resort is located 100kms. away from Rishikesh on Badrinath-Kedarnath main highway, just few kilometers before Srinagar Garhwal. This is a complete camping site with around 20 tents. The site is located on the bank of the river Alaknanda, which flows from Satopanth & meets Bhagirathi in Devprayag & becomes Ganges. The site is very soothing, you can easily listen the chirpings of the various birds specially in the morning. The owner Vijay Kukreti a.k.a. Beenu Bhai himself is very helpful & down to earth person. He has many years of experience in trekking in Himalayas. The food provided here is just excellent in quality & it works on self service basis, means you can take as much as you want of your choice. The site also has a wide swimming pool, i had a great enjoyment there, although i don't know the swimming yet. Since the site is on the main highway, so you don't need to get worried in reaching there. We visited there for a day, celebrated holi, enjoyed bonfire, while having Chilli-Potato. Enjoyed in swimming pool two times in a day. Sit besides Alaknanda River. Talked to Beenu bhai about many things & did nothing. Definitely a must visit place !

You need a place to sit, eat, relax, work and stay and don't want to drive too far and yes you need a view of mighty Alaknanda too right in front of you, then this is the place mate ! Just two hour drive from Rishikesh, right beside the highway amd on the bank of river Alaknanda you have this camp. Owner Vijay bhai is a friendly chap, chit chat with him, listen to his experiences and enjoy your hot chai with the view of this mighty river, what else do you need in life !
