Dunagiri Retreat felt like a home away from home. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and professional. I visited the place for a yoga retreat and ended up staying there for 9 days in total. It was a surreal experience. The owner, Piyushji is an amazing host who makes sure that everything that you need is provided for. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with all the amenities one could need. I particularly enjoyed the variety of food at the property, it was simple yet delicious. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Dunagiri Retreat to anyone looking for peace, outstanding views of the mountains, and remarkable hospitality.

Dunagiri Retreat is truly a small piece of heaven on Earth. The property welcomes us with its blooming flowers, amazing views and most importantly, a deep sense of calm in its quietness. It's a part of the Dunagiri mountain, the silence here is something you feel from the very first day and it's incredibly peaceful. We will be also greeted by their friendly Himalayan dogs. I stayed for a 5 day yoga retreat and each day they serve wholesome meals. Piyushji and every other member of the property are always there for you. Not to miss, short walks uphill from the property will give great views of sunrise and sunset. Just stay there and witness the magic for yourself.

I spent 6 wonderful days at Dunagiri Retreat with Piyush and 4 lovely dogs. Piyush is a super kind host. The retreat is located in a strategic position to visit many sacred and special places in this area. I suggest staying at least 3 nights to have enough time to visit the suggested places and appreciate their energy. Babaji's cave and the temples are easily reachable from the retreat. On your trip to India, Dunagiri Retreat is a must-see stop... and magical.

A Magical Stay at Dunagiri Retreat - A Home Away from Home After a long journey, we arrived at Dunagiri Retreat and were immediately captivated. Right there, within the retreat, is Babaji's temple, and the energy is simply indescribable--you can feel his presence the moment you step in. The retreat itself is a paradise, with beautifully manicured gardens bursting with flowers and a breathtaking landscape that soothes the soul. Our rooms were beautifully designed, exuding warmth and comfort, with every detail thoughtfully curated. The views from the balconies were mesmerizing, and in the winter, the veranda outside was the perfect spot to soak in the sun. The heart of our stay was the incredible dining hall--an inviting space where we found ourselves gathering time and again. Whether for tea, coffee, snacks, or our delicious home-cooked meals, it became our happy place. Sunrises are equally breathtaking !!!! The team at Dunagiri Retreat took exceptional care of us, ensuring every moment of our stay was memorable. Every aspect of our experience--from the hospitality to the setting--was simply magical. If you're looking for a place that feels like home yet offers an otherworldly experience, Dunagiri Retreat is the place to be. Truely loveliest resort . Very beautiful all around ambience. In every stone , every plant there is care and attention of the owner in developing such wonderful property in Dunagiri . This retreat is at 7250 feet above mean sea level altitude. Good rooms , tasty healthy all meals served in a magnificent dinning hall with class . My hearty thanks to Mr Piyush Kumar MD and owner of this resort . My long wish to visit Baba Ji 's cave materialised. with this secured availability of world class accommodation in Dunagiri / Kukuchina .

I've been to Dunagiri Retreat twice this year, and each time it has surprised me in the best way. Situated far away from the chaos of the city, the retreat is surrounded by lush greenery and a sense of peace that's hard to find elsewhere. Whether it's the breathtaking views, the serene atmosphere, or the warm hospitality, it's truly a hidden gem for anyone seeking quiet, nature, and spiritual renewal.

I cannot recommend this place more! It is perfect for meditation and prayer to Babaji, and is situated in an amazing location right near the ridge of the mountain. The food and rooms are fantastic, but what really makes the stay is the staff. Everyone is so helpful and kind, ready to support you however they can. The owner is a wonderful character and a lot of fun to talk with if you get the chance. I highly recommend!

This place will transport you into a state of bliss! I was a part of a group who came here for a hog retreat and it was absolutely incredible. Amazing hospitality from Piyush ji and the staff, gorgeous views from everywhere in the property, cutest dogs, delicious homely food and the calming energy that makes you fall in love with this place. Can't wait to go back here soon!
