Excellent stay, loved the food, great rooms, amazing service!! Highly recommend. Enjoyed every moment of the time spent there. The resort manager, Mr Kishor was brilliant. There was nothing that couldn't be done. If something was not at the resort, it would be got!! Madan Sharma's service at the food room was amazing!! The food itself was finger licking good!!

Had a serene and pleasant time here. Secluded enough for a good disconnect from work. Excellent food. Veg Menu is pretty good and not too far from a full fledged one with much variety and each and every dish is excellent to be honest. Service excellent, staff most polite and accommodating. Very artistically designed and built. Loved every bit of it. Highly recommended
Our 4 night stay was excellent, calm & quiet only punctuated by chirping of birds and hustling of leaves. Very spacious rooms with matching wash room. Dust free, clean and tidy with large windows for natural light and view outside. Food was delectable choices adequate. On request a Pahadi Dinner was cooked for us served in thalis and katoris, we remembered our time with our ancestors. The staff was courteous and happy to help. The place is unique and wonderful. 20 minutes from hustle and bustle of the city and its traffic. The best was that there were no mosquitoes. Dr K Gulati
This property is tucked inside a non discreet street leading to Mussoorie from a separate direction. It is surrounded with pine forests, and mountain slopes. Peaceful, serene, a property well thought off and beautifully designed. The rooms are artistic, with antique furniture. The food is very tasty. Room service is efficient. Had a very comfortable stay indeed.
Rating: (2/5) I recently stayed at Tree of Life Resort and, unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. Location & Accessibility: The location is average. If you're planning to move around or explore nearby areas, this resort may not be the best choice as it's not very well-connected. Parking is available, but it's a single-lane setup, which can be inconvenient at times. Ambiance & Rooms: The resort has an old-world charm, but not in a well-maintained way. The property feels outdated, and the doors have visible cracks, allowing insects and mosquitoes to enter the rooms. There's very little natural light in both the rooms and dining area, making the space feel dim and uninviting. While the rooms are spacious, they lack the luxurious feel you would expect at this price point. Not Kid-Friendliness: Not a child-friendly resort. I struggled to use a stroller due to accessibility issues, making it difficult to move around with a young child. Food & Dining Experience: The food is just average--nothing exceptional. Breakfast was also quite basic, and the coffee was disappointing. Given the resort's pricing, I expected better quality. Hospitality & Service: The one highlight of the stay was the staff. They were extremely courteous, and Mr. Singh, in particular, was warm and accommodating. Overall Experience: The most unsettling part of the stay was the eerie atmosphere. The resort feels ghostly, especially in the rooms, washrooms, and even the parking area. It lacks vibrancy and engagement, with no activities to keep guests entertained. For a resort, this is a major letdown. For the price, the experience doesn't feel worth it. While the greenery is lovely and the staff is hospitable, I wouldn't stay here again due to the lack of amenities, outdated infrastructure, and unsettling ambiance.
The location is very discreet and the property is kind of a heritage structure.||The surroundings are quiet and lush green. Peaceful.||But,|~The rooms are enormous but lack the basic aesthetics and amenities.|~Moulds have colonized the walls behind the beds and due to no mechanism to deal with the dampness inside, the linen gets affected too. (In terms of smell on the blankets etc). |~Toiletries provided are very basic in nature. |~Hot water is not a problem and the water pressure is fine too.||The beds are not at all comfortable. |The food is ordinary and nothing special to mention about it. Tasted fresh nonetheless. ||The place screams for a need for a major overhaul. |Monkeys are in abundance. |Strangely, I did not feel very safe here and wanted my husband to be always around. No specific reason but that feeling. |The staff is polite and courteous to say the least.|We had planned to stay for a couple of nights here but ended up not extending our stay after the first night.||Piece of advice for the management:|This property has tremendous potential in terms of a heritage property and the location. A good interior designer along with a turnaround expert is needed. ||Good luck.
We recently visited this beautiful resort to celebrate our first wedding anniversary, and it was an experience to cherish forever! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. A special mention to Mr. Kishore ji, who went above and beyond to make our occasion truly memorable. The room was beautifully decorated for the occasion, and we were delighted to receive a complimentary cake that was absolutely delicious. The attention to detail made us feel so special. In the evening, we enjoyed a cozy bonfire, which added to the fun and warmth of the celebration in the chilly weather. The entire experience was perfect, and we are so grateful to the resort team for creating such wonderful memories for us. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a mix of comfort, exceptional service, and unforgettable moments.
We recently stayed here. It is a beautiful property with the most warm staff. They made our stay super comfortable. The food in their restaurant is delicious and the Garhwal Thali is a must try. The rooms very very spacious and so was the bathroom. We had booked a room with balcony which is recommended. The location is away from the main city but still the connectivity is easy making it just the perfect choice to stay. It overlooks beautiful mountain ranges and you can hear birds chirping during sunrise and sunset. The hotel also arranges bonfire on request which was a beautiful experience after a long travel in cold weather. Definitely a must visit when you are in Dehradun.
