Kasar is a place of Cafes. We visited Kasar Devi Temple from Binsar and planned to try a local cafe. For this I planned ahead and noted down some of the famous cafes from various vlogs. Surprisingly I didn't find the name of this place. So I found this place totally accidentally and I'm glad for that. First I must point out to the awsome view and awesome ambience. The open terrace, along with lofi tracks, will make you to stay there forever. The staffs are very cooperative. Now comes the food which are really really tasty high quality. We tried the mushroom soup, it was spicy flavourful and tasty. Then we tried the steamed chicken momo which was also amazing. We liked thw foods so much that we ordered some more foods to take back with us at our resort. I would certainly recommend Satya's

I visited this place for breakfast after returning from the temple and had a wonderful experience. The ambience was calm and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. A great spot to start the day--highly recommended! Location for stay is also very good, will surely stay here next time.
Our stay was truly memorable and perfect for a family with a young child. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The highlight was the breathtaking view of the Himalayas right from our room -- a rare and unforgettable sight. The room itself was good size, offering plenty of comfort and space to relax. What impressed us most was the food -- fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care especially gharwali food. Every meal was a treat, and the restaurant quality exceeded our expectations. The hosts were incredibly helpful, offering great suggestions for local attractions and making it easy for us to explore the area. Most importantly, the place felt safe and homely. We're already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
Important Warning: Unprofessional Management at Kasar Himalayan Heights [Note: This review is specifically about the hotel staff and management. I did not stay at the property, so I won't comment on the actual stay experience.] I booked Kasar Himalayan Heights on 13th April 2025 for 2 nights (18th-20th April) and paid 50% of the booking amount upfront. The hotel promptly sent a confirmation email confirming the reservation. However, due to an unexpected medical emergency, I was unable to travel and informed the hotel staff on the afternoon of 17th April - well in advance of the check-in time. Despite the genuine nature of the situation, the staff refused to refund any amount. I politely requested for alternate dates within the next 1-2 months. Initially, the executive agreed, but later that evening, the General Manager reversed the decision, citing a "cancellation policy." Upon reviewing the confirmation email, I found no mention whatsoever of any cancellation or refund policy. I made several attempts to escalate the matter and contact the owner or senior management, but received no response at all. The lack of accountability and unprofessional attitude displayed by the staff is truly disappointing. A sincere warning to anyone planning to stay at this resort: Please think twice before booking. In case of any unforeseen circumstances, do not expect flexibility, empathy, or even basic professionalism. Once they've taken your money, you're on your own. Edited on 22.04.2025- I need to update my review after the owner's response, as I couldn't find any other way to address the final remarks made by the OWNER or whoever responded from the management side. Response: Did you mention any cancellation policy over email? - NO. {Seeing the situation of Long weekend, I asked your team to provide the alternate dates to which your executive agreed & later declined by GM next day.} This was my Initial Request not the refund. I asked your team over the phone to provide alternate dates, to which I received ZERO response. (I have made several calls & multiple emails.) "Generally, I don't display any private conversations in the public domain, but people need to know what exactly happened. Check the below screenshots of WA chat with Hotel GM, where your GM asked me to provide alternate dates (Over the call) & assured he would confirm the feasibility." You want me to add EMAIL snaps where I asked you to provide the detail or Hotel Cancellation Policy. Why you have not responded over the email or either on WA chats. "Obviously, I don't need validation from people who are making false claims. If you can't understand someone's medical emergency, then there's nothing more for me to say." ! You people don't seem to understand even a simple request. Please donate a portion of my hard-earned money to a noble cause. Have a great life ahead.
Had a good experience at The Himalayan Heights. Celebrated my father's 60th birthday. Staff cooperated in each every small things like decoration, etc. Breakfast was good. The view from the room was also breathtaking. The good point is that the temple is at a walkable distance from the hotel.
The resort is beautifully designed, with cozy rooms that offer stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant at the resort deserves a special mention. They serve a mix of local Himalayan cuisine and popular Indian dishes, all made with fresh ingredients.
We are family with 6 yrs old child. We enjoyed every bit of the stay. Rooms are large compared to any place and the best part is the Himalayas view from room, which we were lucky to see. Location is in a perfect place. Resturant and food are best quality and everything is made fresh and tasty. They also are best guides for suggesting travel to see nearby places. Overall it's fully safe , welcoming and we will definitely come back to stay here.. thanks for taking care of us. Regards
I visited Kasar Heights in mid-March with my parents. It was a very good experience overall and I recommend the property. *The check-in was smooth. The hotel location is really good as it's just a few minutes walk from Kasar Devi Temple and offers great mountain views from the room. *The room was clean and comfortable. The caretaker bhaiya and attendant bhaiyas were prompt and quick in their service. *The food was good but could be better. Also, the TV was not working so that was a little hiccup. Overall, I recommend Kasar Heights. PS - SPECIAL NOTE OF THANKS - I had left my bag with valuables in the room and realised it after reaching Mukteshwar. The property manager/owner Mr. Satya was kind enough to pick my bag and returned it to me intact at Kathgodam station. Very thankful to Mr. Satya and the hotel staff for taking care of this.
