Apical Resort

Hotel is located at very beautyful place. All rooms are old except 2 rooms..rooms are not properly maintained, bed sheets and blankets were dirty...many house flies were there inside the room interrupting your sleep...bath towels were not clean...Food, tea quality was below average...only 1 or 2 people are looking after for 10-12 rooms so its not possible to maintain quality. My suggestion is that they should increase the facilities by charging a little more.

Apical Resort is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the Kumaon hills. All the rooms have a magnificent view of the valleys below. The sunsets are so beautiful and you can see the different outlines of the hills. At night you can spot many star constellations in the sky. A wonderful place to be, especially the warm hospitality of the owner, Mr Joshi and his wife. They grow fruit, vegetables and herbs in their garden so if you go at the right season, you will get a taste of their homegrown food. There is even a table tennis table for those who love ping pong. Mr Joshi is always happy to join in. I have stayed here three times and will always go back to stay there again.

Yes, a beautiful place. Cool breez blowing with chirping of birds from all corners of place. Calm and tranquility prevail all round. An outstanding location. Location best. Rooms OK, with nice homely fresh food cooked and served.

I stayed in Apical Resort recently and my experience has really been great. The owner as well as the staff are really professional and you can have great conversations with them. The roads to resort are good and it is a little away from the hustle bustle of the town which makes it even better. Food was awesome and you feel at home with their tailor made arrangements. I highly recommend Apical Resort.

Location is Beautiful n Romantic, Great views from Resort, 6000feet High at jungaliya Gao road from Bhimtaal, Room is also very good. Hospitality is very touchy, Owner Joshi Uncle is well behaved good helping nature. Treated like family members. We fill we are at our relative's home. Personality 7 star. Personally i touched. On demand serving fresh n home like food with delicious taste.. wana stay there in future....

Perfect place to stay at the top of the hills...Beautiful surroundings if you love nature must stay here, at least once. the view is very pleasant and attractive and even at night, I saw lots of stars twinkling in the sky. If you love photography you'll capture scenery pictures. management and services are top notches. ||Yes, and the old dining hall has its own history.||||Mr. Joshi is very helpful and kind.

I visited there with my husband. Its a great place to stay away from the hustle bustle of city. The place is really quiet n beautiful. All one can hear is the chirping of birds. The owner, Mr. Joshi is a really humble n nyc person. ||The food served was really gr8. (But since this place is nyc n quiet, there are no shops nearby to even buy a packet of chips. So take ur munchings with u.)||My trip would have never felt complete without visiting this place.

Mr. Joshi is hiding a gem away from the hustle bustle of cities and commercial hill stations. The resort is situated in Jungliagaon. It is about 1.5 hours away from Nainital and in some ways it is its biggest asset. My girlfriend and I had spend a weekend there in August and this time around we decided to do a month long stay-cation. Following were the highlights of our stay The highlights of working from this location so far have been 1. Gorgeous morning walks 2 .Beautiful sunsets 3. Delightful lakes in the area 4. Organic and simple home cooked food from Mr Joshi's farm to the dining table. 5. And the scenic views with Kayaking and paragliding activities as near as few kms away. 6. Decent wifi in such a secluded location. Absolutely loved it.
