Club Mahindra Resort - Binsar Villa, Almora, Uttarakhand

We stayed at both properties of CM in Binsar. I must say both the properties are amazing, well maintained and have good rooms. One offers the valley view, has spacious rooms, heater, few activities and zipline. The gardens, trees and different types of birds to watch in the morning is surreal. The other property on the top is on the concept of a tree house and my daughter loved it. You actually feel you are living admist trees. Cute resort with all necessary amenities and good food. But there is not much to do in and around Binsar. There is only a zero point view point. So a 2 day visit is enough for this resort.

The service provided by Harish Joshi and others were very nice. We were very happy with the stay and food. They gave us the best rooms with a great view of the landscapes of Uttarakhand. A must visit for every traveler who loves mountains.

Management needs to improve attitude towards treating non-member guests. Their responses appeared cold and unwelcoming. Their behavior made enjoying the beautiful location difficult. The isolated villa area is technologically challenged. We had no wifi during the two day stay. The room lacked basic amenities such as a desk chair. Restaurant staff at the villa area were very helpful and accommodating. Chandra Prakash (CP) and his team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Mahindra and the housekeeping team were very cordial and efficient. Food is good.

Beautiful rooms, delicious food, fantastic staff! Super helpful, hospitable and phenomenal. Definitely a little pricey, but absolutely worth it for the ambience and food. Highly recommend!

It's been a superb experience at Binsar Valley.. we stayed for two nights and also had parents and kids with us... Superb location, great experience and don't want to miss mentioning of Chef Mr Bhopal (at Villa) who took great care of us, our choices and including without onion garlic prep for parents...

I recently visited Club Mahindra Binsar Valley and had a very disappointing experience at their restaurant. Despite making a reservation in advance, my family and I were made to wait for an extended period without any explanation. When we were finally seated, the waiter was extremely inattentive and rude. Our orders were taken hurriedly, and when the food arrived, it was not as per our specifications. Upon addressing this, the waiter's attitude was dismissive and unprofessional. This mistreatment ruined our dining experience and marred our stay at the resort. I hope the management takes immediate action to improve their service standards. So illiterate and rude staff a member from the staff who claimed to be the MANAGER named CHANDAN treated us very rudely and with the sense of illiteracy

My experience at Binsar valley stay is memorable. I am very happy to state that during our stay Chef Manish & waiter Kundan have taken care of us very well with personal attention. The chef understood our tastes & accordingly prepared the food & waiter Kundan happily served the food in a very gracious manner . I thank both of them The rooms were very spacious & well furnished. The housekeeping staff were quick in responding to our needs. The landscaping & lighting give a wonderful feeling is staying at luxurious property Thanks to everyone at CM team

Being a Club Mahindra property, it's wonderfully maintained, rooms are very spacious with all facilities, hospitable staff especially the front office girl Priyanka is very pleasant & co-operative. Excellent location! The let downs- - View ( & that's the most important part): the way the property is designed, you hardly get any clear view of the far mountains or valley.... there's just one point near the restaurant & there also they have put up a 'Smoking Area's board - Not much open space: if you're thinking that u are going get alot of open space to walk around within the resort, u may get disappointed...it's all occupied barring the steps - Very commercial: Food is very expensive so alot of guests order or go outside for food. Every activity barring one or two are chargeable. We explored the hill top villas also but the same issue there too. Although the view is better there as compared to the valley resort but the place is small & there's hardly any open space to walk around barring a small lawn.
