KMVN TRH Pithoragarh

Very beautiful place at the top of a hill with fantastic view of Pithoragarh town. Beautifully decorated place. Food and service is good. Starting point for Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra. Ulka Devi Temple and Saheed Smark are next to the Rest House. Stayed here for one night. Rooms are old and spring beds are there which need repair and replacement.

Good entry ambience. Parking is available. Rooms are average. But have amole storage space.

Have stayed multiple times before at the property without any issues, but latest experience (this past week) was nothing but horrible. Checked in around 6PM, staff refused to give prepare anything other than Papad and tea for evening snack, after much arguing, was provided Pakodas. Then the dinner time comes, and they said only food avaliable is dal and aloo. Had to go out and eat something decent. Why have Menu? If you don't want to do an effort to prepare food. Highly Disappointed!

The best part of the TRH is the plants and flowers. It's a nursery. Must thank Mr Dinesh ji for the positive energy he puts in. Will stay again. Keep up the good work Sir and spread environment protection and keeping Himalayas clean.

Add on facilities i.e toilet kits, shaving kits not provided, they are taking full room tariff but not provided the above mentioned items, they are showing reason that it is out of stock and not supplied by their head office from Nainital, Tu

My one-night stay at the KMVN property in Pithoragarh during January 2023 had its ups and downs. The property's location, with its beautiful garden and scenic views, added to the overall appeal. While the property had its flaws, it still offered a decent place to rest and appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. For those seeking a short stay in Pithoragarh, it may be worth considering, but with the awareness of the property's limitations.

Rooms are good in size and clean. If you are looking for comfortable rooms in decent price, this is the place you can opt for. Parking facility is available. Complementary dormitory and food for driver is available. Hot water is 24*7. Just love the plant they have kept inside out.
