Ajay Home Stay

The stay here was the worst the rooms were very small and smelly...the behavior of the staff and the owner was pathetic...there was no privacy in rooms and the washroom was very bad the flush was not working and the seat was damaged. It is not at all recommended find other hotels/homestays in the same range they are better.

The staff is so arrogant service is very poor I was ordered mix sabji and they always served me cauliflower Room was very small and behavior of owner is very rude and doesn't provide us privacy so I will suggest any of you read this review please don't stay in this home stay this is worst home stay

I booked this home stay at 7.12.24. we have 8 members in a group including aged person. Our experience was horrible. I advance 1000rs to Mr Ajay Thapa and asked about the detailing as we have aged persons. He told location is good. When we reached we became shocked about the entry. At first we had to climb 50 stairs from road( it's ok) then we had to climb down by a horrible iron stairs. That was impossible for aged person. Ground floor has damped room. 1st and 2nd floor has double bedroom which was ok but have to climb steep stairs. It located back side of a building. No sunlight no fresh air and no views also. Tarrif will be not more than 500rs. But they charged 1500rs . Not recommended.

Highly unprofessional behaviour of staff and owner ,greedy owner, not tidy rooms Unhygienic washroom, privacy not given owner found eavesdropping in our rooms. The stairs were very steep and slippery. The owner and staff was using the same washroom as us.. very bad experience, worst..

Ajay home stay is very good place to stay at almoda I liked it very much and i highly recommend this place.

It was truly disappointing stay. The ground floor rooms did not have any ventilation, no natural light and a common bathroom. The entrance is tricky, almost 30 steps one has to climb from the motorable road, then he needs to get down 4 big steps in a iron made stairs, with a big chance of fall as it is unstable on a wet narrow passage. Mr. Pradhan is good spoken, shows intention to help, but the place doesn't have much to produce. He might be hiding the facts to earn, otherwise, there are nearby better located better ventilated hotels at same price.

Lovely place, will definitely stay there again I was in Almora for just one night and was looking for a safe and clean place to stay; when I met Deepak bhaiya from Ajay Homestay. He showed me the place and also helped me take my luggage from the centre. The room was clean, the food was tasty, and everyone was really sweet. Next morning, I had an early bus and it was raining, so uncle ji from the homestay dropped me to the bus stop in his car and helped me find a convenient way to travel to my next destination.

Ajay Thapa, the owner of this place is very good, the room was like a home. Food will remain as it was at home, whenever Almora wakes up, I will stay in home stay, I thought both of them will give number 10 out of 10.
