Rudra Himalayan Retreat

Sanjay is a very hospitable host. We stayed in his property for two days. Rooms were very spacious and clean, the best part was the balcony from which we enjoyed glimpses of the Himalayas. The service staff were the best we have ever seen. Food was delicious too and prepared from scratch. Sanjay also helped us with the cab bookings and shared various information on trekking programs which he conducts. I highly recommend this place.

Great experience. Very good service. The staff is very polite. Food was very good. But don't have lunch on the balcony to avoid attracting monkeys . View and location is very good with enough parking space for a hill station. They are also extending their cafe for better vibe and view so you can expect a great experience

Hotel is located just below kasar temple. Plenty of eateries adjoining and a nice walking stroll. Stayed two nights and loved the place. Good service and quality of food is also nice at reasonable rates. Recommended

> Update: After posting this review, the hotel manager contacted me via WhatsApp and warned me to take it down or face legal action. I believe in sharing honest experiences, so I'm updating this review for clarity and transparency. I had contacted the hotel in advance to inquire about room availability during a long weekend. The manager quoted a rate of 3,500 per night. I asked for a QR code to make a token advance payment, but after that, he stopped responding to my calls. The next morning, my friend called the same number, and the manager quoted a higher rate of 4,500 per night for the same room. Once he realized my friend was calling on my behalf, he stopped responding to him too. Due to this experience, I was unable to proceed with the booking. It was unprofessional and caused inconvenience in my travel planning. Please be cautious and confirm everything clearly if you're considering this hotel.

One of the best places in Almora to have a vacation. Clean rooms, efficient staff, simple but hot hygienic food at all times. We had to look for hotels in urgency as the earlier hotel was horrible. Came across this one with a fantastic view and good hospitality. Stayed for two nights. On extra charge we were provided with room heaters which were needed. Sanjay you have an amazing property and the guys you have employed are very hospitable and warm to the guests. I will certainly be recommending your hotel to others and will visit again for sure.
