Resort Hare Krishna Orchid Vrindavan

Vrindavan is a pilgrimage site located in Uttar Pradesh (UP). It's located at 120 -150 km from Gurgaon ( additional 30 km from Delhi ). Travelling by your own car / cab may take around 2.5 hours if you go non- stop and toll charges are ~350 Rs. Resort Hare Krishna Orchid is on the suburbs of Vrindavan and can be accessed from two roads, one shown by GPS ( best ) and other from the town itself ( traffic slows you down) PS: If you are arriving in evening around 5-6 pm traffic police places barricades permitting entry to only three wheelers) Once you reach the resort premises, one often wonders where the hotel is. Please ask security for directions. The resort reception can get a little crowded at times but the reception will greet you. There are ~10 floors in the resort and the number of rooms is above 100. The outdoor pool is placed in the lawn . The rooms are spacious depending upon the amount paid ( A 4500 Rs room will come with a bed, 2 big couches, one dining table, and a balcony, with an attached washroom). The couches are made of rexine so it's advised to carry a cotton blanket. Overall, rooms are average in upkeep. The car parking is large enough to park 60 cars easily. Breakfast buffet is average with 4 dishes namely Poha, Vermicelly, Idli Sambhar, and Poori Sabji. From the hotel one takes an auto to Sri Banke Bihari ji. Auto rates can be from 150 Rs ( 2 passengers) or Rs 20/ person ( if 6 passengers ). Thereafter, from Banke Bihari ji one can walk on foot to Nidhivan ( ask for directions from locals). Overall, if your budget is higher in the range of 10 K you can find good options like Raddison and Sarovar Portico which are in city center and the auto facility is really good.

One of the biggest highlights for me was the view--absolutely breathtaking! Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenic beauty added a magical touch to the entire stay. And last but definitely not least, the staff were exceptional. Warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. They made the whole experience feel even more special with their professionalism and genuine hospitality. I can't recommend this place enough--perfect for a relaxing getaway or a special occasion. One of the best places to stay in Vrindavan, offering a peaceful locality with easy access to transport. The property is well-maintained and the service meets good standards. It features two restaurants, a temple, a gym, and both buffet and a la carte dining options. We had few meals here and the food selection was extensive and delicious. However, I did struggle a bit with the strict adherence to specific meal timings. The hotel is a converted residential society with two categories of rooms in separate wings. My stay was in the premium category, which had spacious rooms, clean washrooms, and an attached balcony. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay.

Absolutely the Worst Experience - Avoid at All Costs If I could give zero stars, I would. My stay at Hare Krishna Orchid Hotel was a complete nightmare, and the credit for ruining the entire experience goes to the disgraceful behavior of the staff, especially Devesh and Pareek. These two were the most unprofessional, arrogant, and disrespectful individuals I have ever come across in the hospitality industry. Devesh was rude beyond belief, talked back without any reason, and clearly has no understanding of how to treat guests. Pareek was no better - his attitude was condescending and his behavior bordered on harassment. The staff, instead of being helpful and cooperative, acted like they were doing us a favor by letting us stay there. No manners, no courtesy, and absolutely no sense of responsibility. It was like dealing with a bunch of entitled rascals who shouldn't be anywhere near a customer-facing job. The hotel might look decent from the outside, but the kind of treatment you get from the staff makes it a place to avoid like the plague. Trust me - your peace, your time, and your money deserve better than this pathetic excuse of a hotel. Never again. Not recommended to anyone.

Best place in vrindavan to stay. Room was too neat and specious. Surrounding is pleasant. For our room we got the view of prem mandir and peacock forest. Food was very yummy, one should go with food package included. Room service was quick and polite. Most recommended.

I had a very pleasant stay for a couple of days. The approach is nice, without much city traffic. Rooms are specious and maintained. The food quality is good. There is sufficient parking space available for private cars.
