The Kashi Residency Varanasi

Rooms are neat and clean. Property was well located near assi ghat, walkable distance from the ghat. Peaceful area. Service was top-notch. Every member was well mannered and eager to help. Room service was done well. Every phone call to reception and restaurant was received immediately with prompt service. For the amount charged per day, I think rooms are bit small. Breakfast menu was limited with only two items without much variety for different days. Apart from this, it was a perfect family place to stay.Food served was very good and with reasonable pricing.

The room was large and clean. Shower was excellent. Very walkable. Rate included breakfast that was just weird. First day given a menu then said they did not have anything we asked for. Second day was a buffet with a couple of things and nice. Last 2 days given toast and coffee. So don't plan or pay extra for breakfast!

We were there for breakfast after the morning Arti at the Assi Ghat.|A good breakfast stop option. We had selected items from the buffet. We'll cooked. The restroom was clean and dry.||Also, attached to/ near a temple and has breathing space around it

Great hotel near Assi Ghat. Surrounded by lot of eateries and Boating and river cruise options at walking distance. Excellent customer service, starting from Aayush and Front desk team to Ritesh, Misri and restaurant staff as well as house keeping team of Rajkamal and others. The food was amazing and the dining option at the roof top restaurant facing river was one of its kind. Hotel also has a beautiful Hanuman ji temple and open space. Aayush also helped with the tourist guide for Darshan and walking tours as well as arranged cabs (Special mention as it was almost impossible for us to arrange a return cab for Airport on Mahashivratri). We're already looking forward to revisit the hotel again.

Pros -|1. Location near Assi ghat (3 min walking distance)|2. Spacious and clean rooms - Rooms on 3rd floor i.e. Suite rooms are quite spacious compared to 2nd floor rooms i.e. Premium Deluxe rooms|3. Staff is exceptionally polite and attentive|4. Service is also good except that of food services which takes too much time to prepare and serve|5. Provides good and reasonable price for car services as well as private boat rides|6. The staff takes care to carry the luggages all the way to the room||Cons -|1. No lift as of November 2024 (lift is being installed and will take some time)|2. No insect repellant or protective measures to counter the insects and flies which are found this time of the year across North India |3. Food service is quite slow and taste is average; price is also onvthe higher side|4. Their complimentary breakfast is deceptive as one is allowed to take limited amount of items and quantities |5. No view of Ganga river or Assi ghat from rooms - only negligible views from 3rd floor rooms||We stayed there for 2 nights during Diwali and almost all shops/restaurants remained closed due to Diwali. So had to consume their food for most of the time. They do not allow non-veg and alcohol consumption in their premises and also customised the menu items to take care of our demand for no onion no garlic food

This is a hotel on the back side of Assi Ghat in Kashi... They take the cake on room size with NO WINDOW.. thete is good hot water and Aquafina is served...besides that...for 4k a night...its silly expensive and absolutely not worth the money...rooms are really veey very small.. Mosquito are offered free from 6 pm...be careful.. Please avoid. Not Recommended. Bhagwan Mazher Jaffar Mumbai India

Good place about 150 meters from Assi Ghat. Inside a Big compound of a Hanuman Temple. Quiet but smaller rooms. No elevator.

I loved the experience of Kashi Residency. If you want a five star experience, this might not be the pace for u...but sometimes the staff, the location, the vibes of the place make overall experience great and that is what we experienced here. this place is a min walk from assi Ghat.. very near to the cruise point of Ravidas Ghat...it means you can experience the Rustik Varanasi just as you walk out of the hotel.. that is the kind of experience I wanted at this time... I have stayed in many more expensive hotels in Varanasi ..but this experience was the best one!! hats off to the staff for being so supportive and making the experience great :)
