Saroja Heritage Hotel

Worst experience of all time. Ac not working, bedsheets pillow covers are so dirty bathroom lock is broken and the staff was not at all helpful with anything they were not ready to accommodate us in a different room they were just giving excuses. We spent a lot of money on it and we were coming from a long journey and that's how we're welcomed here.

Property is very nice esp the rooms and the interior, but rest everything else is not at all up to the mark. We paid very high price for the value it brought. There is an urgent need to look at upgrading the standards to match with the price they charge. Very ordinary and not meeting the hospitality standards

Review of Booking.com and Saroja Heritage Hotel, Varanasi||Our experience with Booking.com and Saroja Heritage Hotel in Varanasi was far from pleasant. While the booking process on Booking.com was straightforward, the real nightmare began once we arrived at the property.||We specifically chose the "pay at property" option to ensure flexibility, but Saroja Heritage Hotel cancelled one of our rooms despite confirming the reservation. Their excuse? "It's our policy that you have to pay." This is completely unacceptable and a violation of trust. When we reached out to Booking.com for help, they offered no assistance whatsoever, leaving us to deal with the situation on our own.||The problems didn't end there. One night, the electricity went out, and no one at the reception bothered to answer our calls for help. The lack of basic responsiveness and accountability was appalling.||While the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the overall service was terrible. To make matters worse, there was a wedding on the premises that was so loud it made it impossible to relax or enjoy a peaceful stay. The hotel staff showed no regard for their guests' comfort.||This experience has been deeply disappointing. I would not recommend Saroja Heritage Hotel to anyone who values peace of mind and good service. Moreover, Booking.com's lack of intervention and support makes me question whether I can trust their platform in the future.||To the highest authorities at both Booking.com and Saroja Heritage Hotel, I hope this review serves as a wake-up call. Guests expect reliability, respect, and service, none of which were delivered in this case.

Changed 2 rooms before we got the final too. Which also had problems. But we were roo bored to change. Rooms were nice but 1- oil stains on bedsheets. (Due to wedding people eating in room I guess ) 2- washroom smelling of gutter ( ulta baas aa raha tha from septic tank) 3- some funny looking AC which also was smelling really bad. I will not recommend this place. Restaurant n food was good

Loved our stay, old ancestral property reinvented with all modern amenities and comforts. Best location, close to temples, shopping and street food that Benares is famous for. Nice restaurant within hotel compound. Will love to come back and stay here again

It is a good heritage property with very few rooms and a beautiful heritage feel from the locks to the interiors to the furniture everything speaks of the old world charm. The staff was very quick in response and the services were very good. The food was also tasty and suitably priced. Only issue was that it is booked heavily for weddings so the late night wedding festivities can create a disturbance in sleep. Also the shower area was fully open which meant water all over the washroom when you take a shower which was lil messy. I had to call room service everytime we showered to clean the floor to which they responded quickly.Good hotel with good ambience and basic amenities. Situated on a prominent road so location wise was also good.

Good location and the rooms are very spacious. Staff is very courteous and prompt. One issue is the monkeys keep jumping on the tin roof which makes it a problem to sleep during night.

Third class place to stay. Avoid this place, Mosquitoes will find you everywhere, WiFi not working properly. Housekeeping will come after so many reminders. And BREAKFAST - they hv hardly 3 items and put them only 2 available. Only good part is location of the hotel
