Ramada Plaza by Wyndham JHV Varanasi

Hotel is in the process or modernizing their rooms and we were quite surprised with the new rooms as they are pretty spacious and very modern. We were first worried when we looked at the website and their rooms but were positively surprised and liked our room very much, see pictures. The only downside of the room was the AC that kind of didn`t really worked and the light in the hallway of the room which you couldn`t switch off separately. They also offer a free wash service for 2 pieces which we loved and took advantage of. ||The pool is quite nice, too and the stuff around the pool very friendly. ||Food is very Indian-like. While it was quite nice for dinner (kudos to Ruhan), it was bit in need of getting used to it for breakfast, though. There are not many European tourists around which we believe is quite unfortunate as it is definitely worth visiting Varanasi even though there is not much to see except for the rituals at the Ganges. So is the location of the hotel - there is nothing much around there. We stayed there 2 nights but can recommend only 1 night if you do a proper planning with your tour guide. ||Staff is actually quite friendly - actually because they`re English is not that good and it was quite difficult to get a proper answer sometimes. However, overall a quite good hotel. Would rate it 3.5.

A great hotel with a lovely team. The restaurant staff were very helpful and attentive, food diverse and tasty. We also enjoyed good cocktails too. Anjali and Rishini were very helpful and quick at reception. The garden was good but this hospital does need updating and is somewhat worn.

We had very nyc and comfortable stay at the hotel. Staffs are polite and friendly and location is also convenient with a shopping mall right at your doorstep. It has an excellent breakfast and our check out procedure was smooth front desk staffs are excellent.

My stay at the hotel was extremely disappointing. The lack of hygiene was evident, with a strong sewage smell coming from the drains, making the bathroom experience very unpleasant. Cleaning was clearly insufficient, and every time I took a shower, the bathroom became completely flooded, adding to the discomfort and creating a potential safety hazard. However, I would like to acknowledge the kind and attentive staff member who promptly and politely removed the excess water from the bathroom floor every morning after my shower. While his effort was appreciated, it does not change the fact that these issues should not have occurred in the first place. To make matters worse, I had to request the replacement of the refrigerator three times, and even after all these swaps, it still did not work. This showed a complete lack of maintenance and quality control of the equipment provided to guests. I never had access to fresh water to take on my daily visits around the city. This is a basic necessity, especially in a place with high temperatures, yet it was completely overlooked. The lack of proper maintenance and attention to guest comfort is unacceptable. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights. Rooms need rennovation. Cleanliness can be improved. Common areas are kept clean and maintenance also is good. Staff especially front office can be more proactive and convincing and reasonable

It was wonderful...feels good no noise. Very silent..... breakfast n dinner was oswm with taste. .. obe more sleep was very good comfortable..one thing more service was good. .I thank you cecilia ..u talk very nice as like frnd not feel like strangers.

The staff specially frontdesk Roshni was quick and easy with handling all my request regarding checkout till handling late check out request. Food is excellent. Rooms are super spacious. Brekfast was lavish with so many varieties to choose from.

The rooms ,food and service are great at this hotel.||The lobby, however, seems a little unfurnished and no ushers at the main exit doors; supposedly under renovation;||but there are lots of open spaces including even a jogging track and plenty of trees and greenery.||Access is very spacious and nice. Though there is no minimart/shopping arcade but the attached (to the property), JHV Mall is a big boon.
