Live Free Hostel Varanasi

A safe space from Varanasi's chaos. The hostel is really close to Assi Ghat but in a peaceful street with no traffic and honking. It has clean rooms with A/C and good WiFi and a little garden where they serve delicious and cheap food. Really chill staff, highly recommended

I had a fantastic stay at Live Free Hostel in Varanasi! The hostel is exactly as shown in the pictures clean, modern, and well-maintained. The atmosphere was amazing, with a young and lively crowd that made the experience even better. I really enjoyed the live music sessions, which added to the fun vibe. The staff was incredibly nice and cooperative, always willing to help with anything I needed. The food was fresh, delicious, and very tasty, definitely a highlight of my stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely stay here again if I visit Varanasi in the future. Highly recommend this place!

Great place to stay at, regardless of who you're travelling with. I stayed in the AC dormitory, but rooms and dormitories for women are also available. The bed and facilities within the room were great, but my favourite was the open cafeteria, surrounded by plants and trees and with delicious, freshly prepared food! I highly recommend anybody traveling to Varanasi to stay here.

This was my 2nd time in banaras I chose to stay in live free hostel again this time too beacause i love this hostel, its ambience is so aesthetic which you will not find in any othee hostel of banaras, and most importantky rooms and washrooms are so clean and spacious, you have proper balcony, open terrace and sweet cafe to chill with your friends. I have stayed in so many hostels but live free is only hostel in which rooms are properly are properly ventilated and spacious amd food is good.

I stayed couple of days I had experience a very good experiences. This was my first visit to Varanasi, hostel management people were friendly and supportive and guided me to tour the places so I could cover most of them in two days. Room is good and clean and well air conditioned I stayed in shared room it had good experience. They have an attached restaurant food was tasty, once you order they will prepare and get you. Ambience was great in open space where you can sit and relax. It is quite near to Assi Ghat perfect location.

Sanket was kind enough to help us plan our outings. The rooms have all basic facilities like a hotel room. I did feel like somewhere near Dasashwamedh ghat would be a better location for a hostel, even though Assi is the next most prime location. Special mention for Ravi bhaiya who is diligent with his work and is always up for TT Also, they should keep a guitar in there.

I had an incredible stay at Live Free Varanasi Hostel! The location is absolutely perfect--right in the heart of the city and within walking distance of all the major places of worship and key attractions , like Assi ghat etc . It makes exploring Varanasi so convenient. The crowd here is fantastic, with a great mix of travelers, making it an ideal place to meet like-minded people. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help, making the experience even better. The food is delicious, and the overall vibe of the hostel is warm and welcoming. If you're looking for a comfortable, social, and well-located stay in Varanasi, I highly recommend this place ..

This is an okay place to stay but maybe not well suited to western travelers. We found the cleanliness and upkeep lacking by Indian hostel standards. Some staff were friendly but had limited English; those who did speak English were generally unfriendly and unhelpful. The hostel seems to mostly cater to Indian tourists. The rooftop area is a bit of a dump with no catering. On the positive side, the location is good and the garden cafe is excellent and great value (worth a visit if you're not staying here).
