Hotel Yash Residency Near Assi Ghat & BHU

Hotel rating is fake .. don't book on the basis of this. Terrible Experience at Yash Residency - Not Worth Booking... I booked Yash Residency near Assi Ghat, Varanasi, solely because of the MakeMyTrip "Value Stays tag", expecting a decent and hassle-free stay. However, my experience was nothing short of a nightmare from the moment I arrived. 1. Unhygienic and Poorly Maintained Rooms The room was extremely dirty - dusty bedsheets, unclean floors. The bedspread was visibly stained... The bathroom was not cleaned properly, making it very uncomfortable to use. 2. No Basic Amenities No dental kit was provided, despite being a basic offering in most hotels. They charged premium rates but failed to deliver even standard services. 3. Misleading MakeMyTrip Ratings & Poor Customer Support The only reason I booked this hotel was the MakeMyTrip "Value Stays tag", which turned out to be misleading. After going through multiple complaints on Phone call, MMT only offered a 20% refund, which is unfair given the experience. (Attach images of the dirty room, unclean bedsheets, and other issues you faced.) Finally.. : DO NOT book this hotel unless you want a terrible stay. MMT must stop tagging such hotels as "Value Stays" without proper inspection. It is the worst experience in my life with this hotel... Totally fraud hotel and the owners and staffs behaviour is like hell.. You can't stay in this hotel.. They will take full booking amount before checking and they will not give you any kind of service even if you call them they will denied. Rooms are very small not clean and broken toilets,not provided basic amenities. You can think twice before book it. Really horrible experience I have regret on my decision.

I stayed for two nights in this horrible hotel. The hotel has no lift, the hygiene is extremely poor, rooms are very bad even without a window, non working tv and telephone. The food is better to avoid. The hotel don't have even a dining room. The location of the hotel is such that it is extremely difficult to find the hotel. The worst part is the behavior of the stuff, from the room boy upto receptionist. The owner of the hotel is connected to a political party. You will find a SUV with the party flag, standing at the entrance of the hotel. My view is that this political connection is responsible for the rude behavior of the stuff. I wander how established tour operators like Makemytrip and others take booking of such a nasty hotel. Although we avoided any direct confrontation with the stuff, but my humble suggestion to the traveller's is the avoid this hotel in future.

Our stay during the Mahakumb 2025 in February was one of the worst experiences we've ever had. No doubt the hotel provided us with rooms on a very short notice, late check ins. But Despite traveling with family, including small children, during this holy period, the hotel's practices were unacceptable. They overcharged for tiny, inadequate rooms, and the condition of the room we received was appalling. It reeked of vomit, was unclean, had shabby linens, and lacked any means of mosquito control. This negative experience was largely due to the attitude and practices of the staff.

We both of us are senior citizens visited Vanaras. 1) Very bad experience we had during our 2 days stay on 10 , 11 th of March,25. They served complimentary water bottle on demand. Front office informed that they serve complimentary water bottle at night 9.0 pm. 2) They have provided only one towel for 2 days stay for two of us. I would suggest to think twice before you book rooms here.

The bedspread was visibly stained, and when I requested a change, the staff flatly refused, saying, "This is what we provide." The bathroom was not cleaned properly, making it very uncomfortable to use. 2. No AC Despite Warm Weather I was shocked to learn that AC is not provided in "winter," as per the hotel policy. The temperature was 28-30degC, making it unbearably hot, but the staff still refused to turn it on. There was no fan regulator in the room, so I had no way to adjust the airflow. 3. No Hot Water, Even in the Morning! The geyser was unplugged and not working. When I asked for hot water, the staff told me to manage without it! After much arguing, I finally got one bucket of hot water, which was frustrating. 4. Rude and Uncooperative Staff Instead of helping, the staff argued and ignored complaints. Their attitude was extremely unprofessional and indifferent to guest needs. 5. No Basic Amenities No dental kit was provided, despite being a basic offering in most hotels. They charged premium rates but failed to deliver even standard services. 6. Horrible Access and No Parking The approach road is extremely narrow, making it difficult for vehicles to enter. There is NO proper parking space, which is a big issue if you're traveling by car. 7. Misleading MakeMyTrip Ratings & Poor Customer Support The only reason I booked this hotel was the MakeMyTrip Value Stays tag, which turned out to be misleading. After going through multiple complaints on Twitter, MMT only offered a 25% refund, which is unfair given the experience. They are totally fraud. Rooms are very small.No commitment value. Even bathroom is also not attached in our case. They tried to take 90% money before coming. No car parking, no breakfast . Staffs are very rude.Not atal worth for money. Totally rubies. Don't come here. For this kind of room they have charged us rupees 6000/-Think of it.

In all respect, the hotel is not up to the mark. The rooms are small. In room there is no space for luggage handling. There was no wardrobe. Even no hangers were provided. There is no kitchen and no dinning space in hotel. No drinking water were supplied. Approach and access road to the hotel is very narrow. We had to walk about 200 meters to reach hotel. With heavy luggage, this is most inconvenient. Staff and owners' behaviour is very rude. Service of hospitality is very poor.
