Hotel Satsang Grand

Hotel room was somewhat clean and spacious. Staff were helpful ,had water issues for few hours in the morning as they forgot to fill water to the tank which could have been taken care by the staff earlier itself without causing trouble to the guests.. Hotel doesn't have inhouse restaurant so will have to order food before hand which is little bit inconvenience and complementary breakfast needs to be pre ordered and will take time to be served. Otherwise a decent stay without any major problems

Best example of how someone can ruin a decent facility with a bad service. This 3 star facility has decent rooms and facilities required to spend a night in a room. The issue is that the service or maintenance that is pathetic. We booked a room through an online service provider. The rooms were not maintained well. The kettle was dirty, towels had stains, the bathroom had hairs at the outlet, shower knob dropping off, remote not functioning, half empty shampoo bottle or the table with a lot of stains. We did not dare to try the breakfast though it was included in the package.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Good affordable rooms, nice people, good service. For breakfast they served aloo paratha which was awesome. Overall good

This place is way too far from the city. It is more like a sarai. Only rooms are available. They don't have a kitchen so getting food there is a task. You can order at the reception and they will arrange for the food to be delivered to your room. They don't have a lift so climbing up & down with your luggage is a hassle. Housekeeping is very basic. They need to get pest control done as I saw a in our room. Look for something else closer to the city centre if you are in Varanasi.

Stay away from this hotel so called Satsang Grand. Nothing grand about it, I had the worst experience when I checked in at 9:30pm where the front desk and two butlers were care free of their guests. The room was booked thru makemytrip (worst mistake), and the room was dirty and disgusting used. It had facies stains on the bed. The bathroom was disgusting dirty and the floors were not cleaned. I called the manager that night with no resolution and had no choice but to stay after they changed bed sheets.

Stayed here for couple of nights... Extremely well behaved people... Especially the manager Ashwini Dubey and staff Awdhesh Yadav were extremely cordial and provided very good service... Rooms and washrooms are both clean ana sanitized... Highly recommend!!

Excellence in service. Courteous staff. The manager Indrajeet is very kind hearted person. Over all nice hotel to stay.
