Hotel Prago

Hotel was Ok Ok type but price was too high for facilities provided. No electric kettle, no proper toiletries and even the commode was dirty and even after complaining it was not cleaned citing its a very old stain and won't go away. Cleaning was also not proper and when we were provided room, garbage from previous guest was still lying there.

Hotel Prago is an excellent choice for anyone who's visiting Varanasi for BHU related work because of walking distance proximity. Rooms and toilet are clean, well lit, everything is functional, a bit old though. Budget friendly as well. Plus, the in house restaurant is an added benefit. Very friendly staff.

Stayed at Prago during a leisure trip to Banaras. Located in a gully opposite off main BHU entrance. The hotel is easily identifiable due to its display board. The service was good with the hotel having its own restaurant. Although the price charged per day was on a slightly higher side.

Rooms were good, big and spacious. Bathroom was also good, large curtains provided to block the sunlight. No view from the hotel, but close to BHU, so a lot of autorickshaw options available. Wifi was very poor, so I ended up using my own internet. Cable signal was also poor. Only 2 towels provided out of which 1 was torn. There is elevator available for higher floors.

Was here on a work trip. It is safe, hygienic and provides great service. Location wise it is great, right next to BHU, public transport is easily accessible. The restaurant provides fresh and decent food. The staff is helpful and friendly. Overall it was a great stay on a budget

Worst hotel and services. It's not even worth the price which you will pay.
