Hotel Dolphin Grand, Varanasi

Location of the hotel is great. Most of the major temples and ghats are just a 20 min walk away. Autos are easily available nearby to various places. The hotel is quiet and rooms are very clean. The staff is extremely courteous. Service was really good and prompt. The food in the hotel's restaurant is also great. All in all a great place to stay when in Varanasi.

A four day friend's trip to Varanasi became perfect, thanks to all the care and support by everyone at Dolphin Grand hotel. They took excellent care of right from the booking process to the airport pick, drop and everything around. The hotel has an excellent travel desk being managed by Rajesh ji. He is a humble and honest person. Never tried to force us into taking any package or trip which might not interest us. They have their own cars and drivers and help you with finding a rickshaw too if needed. He agrees that their price is higher (by only a few hundred bucks) but we could see that for that price, the service, guides, drivers and overall experience is worth every penny. The food, hygiene and comfort at the hotel is amazing. Everything is given personal attention. In this area which is close to all major temples, ghats and attractions plus market too, finding this hotel was a blessing. Special mention and thanks to Rajesh ji, Tanya, our driver Rakesh, Farzaan and many many many other staff members whose name I can't recall right now!

Poor south indian food! Had worst uthapam which I had in my life time! It was not cooked properly. Coconut chutney was completely spoiled and was not good to be served. Hotel staffs too aggreed after tasting the chutney and apologized.
