HOTEL BANARAS HAVELI

Big scam going in the name of 'river view', high price difference between offline and online booking. While booking online they wont provide you what they offer. Wifi was not working and nobody was intrested to help even after asking 2-3 times. No bathroom slippers. Not very impressive hygeine. Not at all professional attitude by staff execpt the guard at main gate. Only good thing about this hotel is its location. Never staying here again.

Unfortunately, this hotel contributed to 90% of my stress in Varanasi. There were so many things that went wrong that i can't even begin to remember them all. First, I stayed in three rooms in four nights, because in my first room the toilet leaked. The second room was a cheaper room, and I didn't get entirely compensated for the difference (the owner was trying to save money, as he did with everything) so I only got half the difference. The third room was good... finally. The general staff is very keen to please, but their incompetence was breathtaking. The front desk staff was better. The hotel restaurant served less than average cuisine. I have never seen such an uninspired menu in my life. All in all, I couldn't wait to leave. However some people I talked to liked it... so your mileage may vary.

Awesome hotel but little expensive. Located very near to Assi ghat. We booked a room for a family of 3, it was a really big room with all facilities. Cleanliness was okay. We liked the food. The staff is very polite and friendly.

Loved our Stay.|It's a 2 min walk from Assi Ghat.||The hotel is clean. Price may be a tad on the higher side.||Food is absolutely Delicious.||And Special Mention to Mr. Ajay Pandey for helping us for Kasi Vishwanath Darshan & all city tours without any cost.||This is a service from the hotel. And Ajay ji is a True Gem. Listen to everything he says..||We went during the "Tourist Explosion" in Varanasi, but with Ajay Ji's guidance was able to visit Kashi Vishwanath without any long queues.

I travelled to Varanasi with my senior citizen mom during the Mahakumbh. The hotel staffs took very good care of us. We had an amazing stay with divine experiences of Shri Kashi Viswanathji darshan and Ganga ghat Aarti. The location of the hotel near Assi ghat beside Gangaji made our experience smooth and enriching. Also enjoyed the rooftop restaurant with the river view.||A special mention to the hotel guide MR.AJAY PANDEY who went above and beyond to make sure we have a hasslefree temple darshan and enjoy the local cuisine.||Thank you very much Hotel banaras Haveli for helping us make some wonderful lifelong memories!

Didn't expect such horrible service for this price. Our driver told us that it's a very good and reputed hotel but i didn't felt. Will not at al be interested to visit this place again

Very comfortable services provide by the staff and Ajay Pandey's guidance and planning helped us alot to cover all itinerary without any hassle . Best stay if u want to go to Banaras with family.....best rooftop restaurant .....near the assi Ghat.

We had a totally horrible experience. Someone recommended we get the bigger rooms which was only available for one day. So we got the smaller rooms for 2 more days. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely dirty, the toilet was not clean. The sheets were not cleaned properly. We had to ask for hand towels. Rooms were not cleaned every day.I can't write enough of how bad the rooms were. The food in the restaurant and the service there was good. The location was good.
