Rahi Tourist Bungalow Nawabganj

I recently visited this place with my family, at I came back with a memory I'll cherish forever. The bungalow was located near Unnao and was surrounded by forest. The rooms were spacious and well maintained, they had a big bed, sofa, two arm chairs, table, desk to work, vanity, cupboard, and two side tables. There are two variants there is a AC bedroom and a non AC one available. The prices were quite reasonable too. For non AC it was 2100 and for AC it was 2600. We booked through makemytrip, you can also book directly. Coming to the location it was surrounded by lush green forest, there is a Shiv mandir in the premises. Animals enjoy and move around in their natural habitat and you can hear beautiful bird chirping early in the morning. There are lots of deer as well, we could see deer outside our window as well. There is also a lake in the vicinity. Beware of monkeys though. The restaurant is good, their noodles and french fries are a must have and the nimbu paani just calms the soul. The food was good and the service was a cherry on top of the cake. The bird sanctuary was beautiful so was the deer park. Overall we enjoyed a lot. 10/10 would recommend!

Courteous staff, excellent food, quite place next to bird sanctuary, very spacious rooms with all required furnitures. Great place to stay, away from hustle bustle of city. Rooms required better maintenance and cleanliness.

The restaurant is freshly/newly renovated. It has nice homely feel with proper laid out tables. The food choice is good. The best part is freshly cooked dishes of-course one has to wait till your order is ready. Its worth the wait because one can have view of surrounding huge lake full of birds, and lots of jungle trees around. The lake has observation towers where one can climb up and have a view with binoculars (available on payment from the forest dept ticketing window).

Absolutely fabulous experience. Rooms are very spacious and kept clean & hygienic. Staff is very courteous and helpful. They will make sure that you always feel at home. Food is typical Indian and delicious. All around serene beauty of nature. Deer park is awesome and so is the bird sanctuary. Rahi Tourist Bungalow also has a huge sprawling lawn in the front. Parking space is sufficient. Special mention-all staff deployed at the guest house are super friendly and honest. Do meet a loving dog named Malti at the property.

The hotel is located between Lucknow and Kanpur inside the Nawabganj Bird Sanctuary. The rooms are newly built so everything is in working condition. The hotel is perfectly clean despite being a Government Hotel. The food quality in the restaurant is awesome and frankly speaking I never expected such quality service in a Government hotel. The staff are very friendly and well behaved and tried to help out whenever needed. The food quality is too good. We visited during December so expect lot of fog every single day. The room heaters worked very well and kept the room warm. The rooms and bathroom were big and perfectly clean.||If you want to visit the place or stay for a night choose this hotel. Its the best value for money hotel of the UP Tourism group.

A beautiful hangout amongst clumps of trees, chirping of birds,gentle breeze, a beautiful temple to meditate and serenity all around! Pl do meet the dog named Malti at the tourist bunglow.She is so affectionate and loyal and they say she is around 20 years old. A must visit and a perfect getaway..
