Hotel President

This is your classic Indian dump hotel, I can say with my hand on my heart though that I enjoyed my stay here. As others have alluded, this place makes sense as a wedding venue for certain wedding ceremonies (Haldi/Mehdi). The staff live at the hotel, there are lots of them and they are very helpful, polite and hard working, available at all hours of day and night. They were very helpful, and were good at looking out for some western guests at my friends wedding who became quite drunk and started messing around out in the street. The rooms are in a right state, there are some cockroaches, mosquitos and I think bed bugs also. I am not going to sugarcoat this, they need to improve hygeine. But I survived this unscathed. Beds are adequate and comfortable and everything I requested from the staff was provided. It is safe (the rooms lock, the electrics are sound etc) and at night its also quite quiet. It is in the central area of Saharanpur.

Bathrooms are not clean, they provide blankets which are stinking, they dont provide its cover. AC doesent works on DG during power failure.

We stayed here last week ( mid November) to visit a wedding. The hotel was at a very crowded junction. Difficult to find parking. The room was basic. Bed, table, sofa, tv. No cups and/or kettle for coffee/tea. We were told to call #9 for room service, only to find the phone was not attached.. Room was not clean, cockroaches and a shipload of mosquitoes (no all out or coils..) the toilet didn't flush. Overall it was just not clean. We had to call from our mobiles, but issues weren't really solved or very slowly. Not recommended unless you really have no other options.. Just no...

Very bad service don't stay here for business purpose because only wedding type Hotel less service less hygiene very worst service west of time and money

We stayed in room for few hours for preparation to attend marriage function in city. Well maintained clean, good room service.

Very good hotel for company purpuse visit room are neat clean food very tasty

# Well it may not be the hotel's fault to be at so much and all time congested road, and over that they are providing the parking facility as well. # But the ambience and facilities inside the hotel need lots of improvement. # Room was dirty and disorganised. # Door lock was a bit stuck and it was hard to lock the room. # Bed and blankets were not giving a pleasant feel at all. # Menu card was not provided. # Water served was a packaged bottle, but glass and jug provided in the room were not worth using. # Tea was served in a broken and filthy kettle. # Service was not good, when ordered tea they took 30-35 min to serve. On ordering food, they responded like "it will take time, may be more than one hour" # Washroom was ok, i.e. warm water and somewhat clean floor. # Inside hotel, roaming in the lobby, it seemed like Maze

Pathetic room service. Rest room is not clean and not hygenic. In the rest room didn't have the exhost fan. In all rooms have more mosquito . They didn't have all-out or mosquito killer or insect killer. I'll recommend that please do not stay in this hotel.
