OYO 23722 Hotel Avaa Continental

A good hotel but with extremely poor, ill mannered, rude reception staff... Especially receptionist Pallavi... Beware of her she can shout and burst on you like anything... A big red flag for her

I had booked an engagement for my elder brother. The service was pathetic and worst as per the amount we had paid. However the staff's in this hotel and the owner is not at all professional. Towels, bed sheets, floor, pillow and arrangement in the engagement was worst. As per the promise they made before the booking also did not behaved maturely and professionally. The time was delayed but we were ready to pay whatever amount they were asking for. The receptionist's was not professional at all and was standing by side all the time in function and pinching to wrap up the party as soon as possible. Although we were ready to pay any amount they were begging for. The worst part was when the payment was done for the party and extra time taken. The staff closed the lights so that we rush out fast. It was my compulsion to book it because the bride family was from Shuklaganj. Just because of this hotel I had faced a lot of insult from my relatives. So I request the owner to stop doing this stupidity and be professional if you are doing business. I can give millions of examples of other hotel and resorts and about there policy and behaviour. I advised people looking forward to stay or book for party please do not book it because you will get only disappointments and insults. We were so cooperative but there treatment was something that is not acceptable. It was my mistake that I book here

Nice place to stay. Cleanliness- 10/10 Linens and beddings - Almost new 9/10 Towels can me much better. Hotel staff really appreciable . Specially Mr Gaurav 10/10( Customer Relations) always there with a helping hand . They dont have a in house laundry but dont worry they respect customers belongings and timely delivery too. Break fast is ok 6/10 but can be much better Some times electricity trips is there but only for 5 to 10 seconds . They serve reasonable food you will find good if you are a home foodie. The only issue they have is non operational lifts. Hope they will resolve it soon. . Overall its a decent property with some peace around .

Smelly Towel. Door post was broken, seems as if can be off any moment. Bathroom lock was broken. The room was dirty as if never cleaned properly. Sofa's, Table, Broken Center Table, TV was not working, until I managed myself to find the HDMI cable. And connected it to the TV. TV remote was not provided. Only cable remote was provided. The owner need to remove the current working staff. They are soo busy with their own stuffs that they didn't responded on Intercom. And later those lethargic people stopped picking up my call on intercom later on. The basic water bottle was not provided, I had to call them thrice but they didn't. I personally went downstairs but they didn't provided. I later on had to order the water bottle. The room has good ambience but, due careless staff is already started to look cheap. Room Service Sucks. I had to order the food and already told them to provide me with basic cutlery like plates and spoons. But they didn't provided. Once I had to go downstairs to the reception to tell them. Anyhow I managed to eat my food without plates. I went out in anger told them, my food already got cold. Then shamelessly they came with water bottle and plates. AC was seems as it is not working at all, because the Glass wall used in the room as open corners that lets hot air to warm the room. The glass wall has soo many of openings. Which made AC as if it is not working at all. Finally, it seems like they are their to loot and torture you. I booked the hotel from Goibibo for Rs. 738 but when I came to the hotel, the hotel denied me check-in. It was quite shocking after all I came from all the way travelling hoping to get a cozy room and decent staff. Anyhow I was told give us additional Rs.300 then only I will be able to provide you the room. For which I already paid. Which I had to pay, Majburi. The room in which I stayed was 309.

Location is very outer but staff behaviour & service are both is best in reasonable prices, so guys check out for wedding or parties !!

Great hotel !! You can have a comfortable stay here . Liked the ambience and facilities!

The worst stay ever. Stay only if you wish to be face absolute illiterate and rude staff. You won't get the basic amenities. They even turn your AC on Fan mode to save electricity and not give you the remote control. Bathroom smells and won't even give you soap or towels unless requested thrice maybe. MOREOVER! They'll call you back to abuse you when you mail a review against them to Oyo.
