The Sarovar Palace - Best Hotel in Prayagraj/ Top Hotel in Prayagraj

This was by far the most disappointing hotel experience of my entire life, and I've stayed in over 800 hotels. Let me break down the nightmare we encountered at this place.||First off, it's clear this hotel is capitalizing on the Kumbh Mela event by charging an outrageous 5 times the regular rate, which would be acceptable if the service matched the inflated price. But that was far from the case. There's virtually no staff available to assist, and those who are present are completely untrained. Our cook didn't even know what was on the menu, which made ordering food a frustrating experience. To top it off, after multiple requests, the guard himself had to make our tea.||And the worst part? They don't even have a proper billing system in place. We were asked to pay an advance of 25,000, but to this day, no bills have been provided. This is a huge red flag, especially for a place charging such high rates.||It wasn't just us - we overheard multiple guests, at least nine others, voicing the exact same complaints during our stay from the 10th to the 11th. It's clear that this hotel is taking advantage of guests with zero regard for customer service or proper operations.||Avoid this place at all costs. There are countless other options that offer better value and actual hospitality. This hotel is a complete scam.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My stay at Sarovar Palace was an absolute nightmare and a lesson in how NOT to treat paying customers. I booked this hotel through FabHotels, paying 7,000 upfront for a total booking of 25,000 for two nights during the Maha Kumbh.||||Upon arrival, the manager casually informed me that there were no rooms available and that they no longer work with FabHotels--despite my confirmed, prepaid reservation. No accountability, no assistance--just sheer apathy. The manager refused to cooperate even after I contacted FabHotels customer service, who were utterly useless and provided no support whatsoever.||||Desperate, I called the hotel owner and even involved the police, yet the manager remained dismissive. It was only through the kindness of a guest renting a room that I managed to get accommodation for the night.||||The nightmare didn't end there. Nothing was provided in the room--not even basic essentials like towels--without repeatedly asking. No service, no hospitality, just pure negligence.||||Despite staying only one night, the hotel mysteriously charged FabHotels for the full booking, attempting to scam me out of my money. Suddenly, their "system" was working again when it came time to take the payment.||||This experience was not just a violation of my trust but also an egregious example of deceit and disrespect for customers. I will be pursuing legal action for this disgraceful treatment and fraudulent behavior.||||I urge everyone to avoid both Sarovar Palace and FabHotels at all costs. They have no regard for customer service, honesty, or basic hospitality. Travelers deserve better.

One of the worst ( wahiyaat ) hotel in pryagraj. We booked this hotel with 30 percent of booking amount with refundable policy. At last moment we cancel our plan because of stampade in kumbh. Now its till 1.5 month we are chasing Mr. MANOJ ( i think he is a manager there) not picking our phones either not replying to pur mesaage. We continously calling him every day. This is how they work. They booked your room but never give your money back if you cancel the trip.

Service and staff behaviour was the worst with ZERO MARKS in basic etiquettes. Our waiter seemed completely uninterested and took forever to do anything he was asked for, even after asking multiple times. Avoid this place at all costs! The presentation of food was messy. Not to mention the dirty tables and sticky floors with disorganised seating arrangements. We had a reservation for 7pm but didn't get seated until 7:45, and even then, the service was incredibly slow. Our pre-planned meals arrived at different times, and the server seemed more concerned with chatting with their colleagues and roaming around than attending to our needs.

Could say that this was the best hotel i've ever went too in Prayagraj. Comfortable beds really loved their service they had a very great staff and everything was top notch. As a geniune customer I would love to rate then and must suggest you all to visit them.

It's an extremely bad hotel that projects false pictures on the apps..despite the fact that I called the hotel a week prior to my stay to be a comfortable and clean room with two small children, I got my room after a wait of 2 hours of check in time at 2pm and it was obnoxious.The room that I got after two hour of waiting was terrible.. in reality the rooms and bathrooms were so dirty. The rooms that they showed me as an alternative smelled of alcohol and cigarettes. It was worst than a brothel. The entire property was extremely dirty The staff pretended to be friendly but not at all helpful. The standard of the staff and the hygiene of the kitchen was very low. I couldn't stay in the hotel because of health, hygiene and safety reasons... the property looks amazing in photos but don't take the risk of staying in this place. Worst is the non availability of transportation to and from this place as it's in middle of a village.. Highly unprofessional, unreliable and bunch of liars Agoda is a partner in crime with this hotel. Strict policies for customers and super flexibility for fraud with innocent customers. Never book this hotel and never use Agoda.

We had an absolutely amazing time at The Sarovar Palace. Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms,The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.
