Kunjpur Guest House

Excellent place to stay with family. Very close to the Circuit House and High Court. Rooms are clean and spacious, washrooms are hygienic. Food is also delicious.

Wish I had an option to give them negative review. Pathetic experience and worst team I have ever experienced. Go only to get humiliated and cheated by them... unhygienic, shady and horrible service. Everything looked so suspicious since the moment we walked in the hotel. It is not even a 1 star hotel... may be something else with some other activities going inside. Would never recommend it to any decent families or couples.

The rooms are varying greatly but are priced very similar. We have paid 600USD for 5 nights and got very small rooms at first without running water and electricity. Unacceptable for this price. I asked to change the room to not have a room without enough space to even open a suitcase and the barely any daylight and as if that's not enough right next to a massive exhaust of some machinery. They said there is no room available. Then suddenly they had their staff members move out of a room that was way better than the room they offered me. Don't quite understand why staff has better rooms than a paid guest that booked many weeks upfront, not last minute. Then the food... The food order took 2h (!!!) and was missing half the items. Everyone was eating separate as it came bit by bit. We sat for 3h for dinner. The rice was cold. Even asking for two bottles of water took them 90mins. It's ridiculous really.

It's the best property to stay and enjoy the experience of ambience and food. The Founder of The Kunjpur Heritage, Prayagraj has evaluated all the perimeters and added in the hospitality for both international & domestic travellers.

Absolutely awful experience. The room service was terrible , no one cleaned the room or replaced basic things like towels or toiletries. When I tried to address it, the owner was unbelievably rude and disrespectful. He clearly didn't care about his guests and spoke to my guests in an ill-mannered way. The whole place felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. I wouldn't stay here again even if it was free. Avoid this hotel at all cost.

Overpriced, overhyped. No value for money. Not a good experience at all. Except for Mr. Anand, who was very warm and helpful, the staff is not friendly at all and have a very matter of fact attitude towards the guest. First a room on top floor was provided which was very small and too much of noise because of some construction work going on. When asked to change the room, it was initially resisted by a guy sitting next to the reception trying to override by suggesting the room is reserved. But later on relented to allot #106 which turned out a disaster (which I experienced later on). #106, being next to the reception, had the only window in the room opening into the reception which turned out to be most disturbing since all the chatter (carries on till over 1 am) at the reception does not offer any peace in the room.

Something was fishy.. Everyone's behavior, starting from the owner to receptionist seemed suspicious. They gave the room which i have booked to others without asking me and they did not regret it at all. I was told earlier that the room you have booked is undergoing painting but when I checked, the room was being used by another person.I don't know for sure, but for more money or for some other reason, everyone did this conspiracy together. I realized that there were other guests with me who were also getting the same treatment. The behavior of the owner and his son was rude. His language was like they are doing favor to us. Just be careful.

East Or West The Kunjpur Guest House is the best. As I expected I got more and with a friendly behavior and staff was so humble and happy when we celebrated my wife's birthday they were so happy the food Is light and like homemade food .... Regards Kapil Garg
