A Comfortable Stay in the Heart of Prayagraj My recent stay at the Grand Continental was quite pleasant. The standout feature was undoubtedly the staff - every single person I interacted with was incredibly humble and always ready to assist with a smile. It truly made for a welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were another highlight. They are generously sized, offering ample space to move around and feel comfortable. It's a welcome change from some of the more cramped hotel rooms I've experienced. And let me tell you, the tea served here is absolutely delicious - a perfect way to start the day or unwind in the evening. The swimming pool is a real gem, beautifully maintained and sparkling clean. It's a fantastic amenity to have, especially in the Prayagraj heat. My only minor quibble is the pool closing time of 6 pm. Extending it slightly would allow for a more relaxed evening swim after a day of exploring the city. Both the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were organized and made everything hassle-free. Furthermore, the hotel's location in the main city area is a huge plus. Everything you might need, from shops to restaurants, is easily accessible. Overall, the Grand Continental offers a comfortable and convenient stay. The humble staff, spacious rooms, and delicious tea are definite positives. With just a small adjustment to the pool timings, it would easily be a 5-star experience. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Prayagraj.

Awful hotel. Reception area looks nice, rooms are awful and would give it 0 stars if this was an option. Tried to arrange airport shuttle and the hotel tried to really scam us by quoting 6000 INR. The rooms were terrible, they were not really cleaned, dirty towels were folded and placed back, bath tub dirty and stained, Hotel room was really terrible. I would not ever book a stay with them again. It was the only last minute option but the tents would have been better!

This is truly a wonderful hotel. From the concierge to the groundsmen, everyone and I mean 'everyone' is delightful, friendly and genuinely helpful. The front desk not only look after you, but engage and make sure your safety is priority, and that quality service is value, and professionalism beyond words. Add another star to this hotel. Everyone is highly experienced, the breakfast buffet is wonderful. Location is very easy to get around. Do yourself a favour and put this on your places to stay! You are a champion GC ******

Very horrible experience we had in this hotel restaurant, as the staff is not such educated and disobedient to us upon repeated complaint of table service. They were not looking at table providing, not able to clean the table wares and not able to take order upon so many calling. We complain to hotel manager but he was not reluctant to the complain. We have gone outside for taking dinner in front of whole restaurant staff, but not keen to hold us. Hotel is nice but service is not at all accepted.

Rooms are not good as price also food is over over expensive, morning breakfast limited buffet and the worst thing is housekeeping staff they not cleaning well room and bathroom they just doing their formality of room cleaning. Only one thing is good hotel location.

I was there from 6 January till 22 February. Bad: Many wifi interruptions during the day. And a bit noisy surroundings. The place is well located. Rooms are good. Cleaning staff is attentive and follow indications. At the breakfast time Nuzrah was always very kind, proactive and smart to attend us despite the rush hours due to the Kumbh Mela days. She's definitely a worthy staff.

One of the best facilities or hotel in prayagraj location Location: 10min away from the Prayagraj railway station easily can be reached taking local autos or e-rickshaws , bikes and even Ola or Uber cabs. Located inside the busy city of prayagraj and in a prominent location opposite of area where there is mall and shopping places all around. It's 15/20min away from the prayagraj sangam area. Check-in and Check-out faculties- smooth enough with the hotel staff very generous and jovial in making your process of entry to hotel easy Property & Interior- awesome in one word the entire property is well decorated and organized from a visitor point of view Service- top notch Service from reception to room service to restaurant available inside the facility Rooms- very much spacious and cozy and homely not only for solo stay as well as for family stay Food: Food is tasty enough although the amount is very much when asked for a single person.. the served Food amount is enough for 2 or 3 person when asked for a single plate. It must be looked upon by the hotel management as it often leads to Food wastage which is not good Price: Affordable considering the facilities available inside and the service they provide to the visitors. Overall it's a 9/10 rating for me considering my 3night stay here
