City Hotel

Due to Maha Kumb these people charged 9k for a day! And we would get decent A grade or 3 star at this cost! Hopeless Hotel 1. Reception Staff don't know how to talk to customers extremely rude with impatient behaviour. When I went to talk to them about my concern (they gave food but no plates) they were like what else problem you have tell me ! 2. Food was worst, staff themselves say cooks are drunk and drug addicts (don't know what they prepared) 3. I had heavy stomach infection next day! We requested for few hours extension they said 1k per hour !!!!!!!! 4. Bed sheets weren't clean everywhere it was mess! 5. They don't know H of hospitality ! Very upset being here! We were for a spiritual tour didn't wanted to mess ! It was very unfortunate we experienced this!

I was charged 700 for a very small room..but seeing the demand I think it's manageable..room was good..has a working cooler.. although the bed was not that much comfortable..The staff were nice..I could smell cigarettes all over the place which made it disgusting...overall thik thak...

There is nothing good about this hotel. A bunch of unprofessional people running the place. Dirty rooms, dirty toilets, dirty linen. Behaviour of staff are utterly rude. We had to literally beg for a towel. Only good thing about this hotel is its proximity to Prayagraj Station.

Worst hotel. I will strongly urge not to book this hotel. The staff are unfriendly and will bother you for tip. Room was dirty bedsheet was unwashed and stinky. If you are unmarried couple then you should definitely avoid because they will charge you 1 thousand extra even after booking. If you will show unwillingness they will confront you. I don't wanna give a single star. Again saying, it is the worst hotel of Prayagraj.

It's not horrible but nightmarish experience to stay in this property. And, I hold #agoda responsible for this. They promote hotels that shouldn't given any platform, and is illegible. Where to begin? The hotel don't have rooms but pigeonholes (refer images), smaller than cardboard boxes. Hygiene and hospitality is last alphabet that you can expect from this hotel. The toilet has no water, broken flush tank, cramped area where one can't even sit. The hotel served one bottle of water at check-in. I ordered a cup of tea in the morning, till i checkout, no room service or housekeeping staff were available to clean the room, dustbin, or take the tea cup. (picture added). On 1st Feb, the toilet was out of water. There is a geyser but it is a showpiece, it don't work, even the attendant on the first day failed to demonstrate me how the geyser will be working. The hotel charges Rs. 150 which they claim as security money. I wonder, why #agoda ask for payment. There is phone number and a bell (that don't work) for room services but even if, you press for services multiple times, nobody comes. There is no telephone to call for room service. It's only, when you tell the order in the lobby, food is served and that's too horrible. There is noises around. You can hear the noise of flush in the next room, people on the corridor, attendants talking to each other, empting the trash cans. Once, you have paid both the hotel and #agoda left you at the mercy of fate. The next time, I am not using the #agodaservices ever to book hotel again. They are the worst service provider. [Note: this is my second booking from agoda, and both the bookings are horrible experiences.]

I stayed in this hotel with my mother one and half months back. Rooms were of premium quality. The staffs were very helpful. The price was also very much affordable. They also have their own restaurant, with tasty and reasonably priced food items. We both liked the hotel very much and would highly recommend it.

I'd stayed in this hotel on my holiday trip with my family. I had stayed in many hotels and in every hotel they demand for money at the time of check out. We were tired after our train journey so we ask them that we will give them later as they are demanding at the time of check-in. When we're leaving for Triveni Sangam we're late they again asked for the payment so we ask we'll pay after coming back. When we came back they again demanded for payment I asked ok I'm bringing the money. While I'm taking the money done food spoiled on the bedsheet. So we called for the change for bedsheet they asked rudely for the payment jaise ki hum bhaag jayenge aadhi raat ko. The food was also not so good. Behaviour is also third class overall the hotel is worst. Don't take stay here with your family. With friends they won't allow and with family I don't recommend.

I am sharing a real feedback which happened yesterday. I was allotted one room and when I came back from my office work to hotel , I found that they have switched my room and my belongings without taking a consent from me or even without discussing with me. Sheer violation of someones privacy. Pls avoid this hotel at any cost. They will loot you. Their staff is the worse I have ever seen. Their bedsheets pillow and everything is dirty and you will find cockroach here and there . Today morning when I was checking out, the receptionist gave me 5 rs less from my due, when I asked about it, he said are sir ye bhi koi bolta hai? I was like tumse to 1 rs nahi chhoda jata hai ya kam hota hai tum humein seekhane chale ho. Really they don't have working ethics at all.
