AKSHARDHAM PALACE INN

It was not a good stay. Tired of whole night journey we reached the hotel and the rooms were not ready. Check-in time was 11:00 a.m. We were made to sit in a dormitory and were told that rooms are getting ready. At 12:20 they told one room is about to get ready. We left for Triveni river bath hoping we will get both rooms ready once we return. At 4:00 pm we returned to hotel and to our surprise only one room was ready. Again we waited at reception for 2 hrs 15 minutes and at 6:15 p.m. we got the room. Although they compensated for one room for lost 7 hrs but one may understand if a person is spending thousands of bucks and is on a short travel of a day and tired, will those few hundred bucks be able to compensate the loss? Rooms were okeish. Bathrooms were smelly, no exhaust system, noisy outside with traffic on road in night even. But I think it's hard to find out good hotels in Prayagraj or they are too expensive. Don't take rooms near lift else it's noise will disturb you the whole night. Staff doesn't sleep in night and it's good but troublesome too.

I had the worst experience in this hotel. The hotel is extremely dirty and poorly managed. The hotel seriously needs to evaluate options for improving general cleanliness. The washroom was filthy and was not in good condition. The front desk guys were worst and indifferent. Under the bed was filthy with dirt and dust looked like it had been forgotten about by the cleaner. I wanted to write more but I thinks it's a WASTE OF TIME. Do not consider this hotel at all.

If you're even considering booking this hotel, STOP immediately. I just suffered through three excruciating days there, and let me tell you, it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. They stuck us with 4 doubles and 1 single-sized bed. After arguing with them, they didn't bother fixing it until the next day. Plus, the rooms were tiny. Felt like we were crammed in a box! 2. No Generator There's no generator. So, good luck if the power goes out--you're left in the dark. Ridiculous. 3. Abysmal Service The service? A JOKE. Basic necessities like soap, a remote, and a dustbin? You won't get them unless you beg them over and over. Here's a horror story: someone spilled tea on the floor at noon. We told them repeatedly, and they didn't clean it until the evening. This wasn't a one-time thing; it happened twice during our stay. Housekeeping staff couldn't care less. Pathetic. 4. Cramped, Broken Bathrooms The rooms are claustrophobic, and the bathrooms? Don't even get me started. They showed us pictures, but the reality was tiny, uncomfortable bathrooms. And to top it off, the bathroom door was broken. We complained, and they couldn't be bothered to fix it. Bottom line: This place is a nightmare. Avoid it at all costs. You're better off camping on the sidewalk!
