Shyama Sarovar Portico Orai

We got married at Shyama sarovar portico and we literally had one of the best time of our life. It was only possible because of the hotel and their staff. They're incredibly professional. With their exceptional service they made all our guests feel special was remarkable. Many guests were from Germany and they mentioned several times that they haven't had such an amazing hospitality ever before as they felt at Shyama sarovar Portico. A Very very special thanks from my heart to Chef Praven Bhaiya and Padam Bhai who not only knew what I wanted but helped me take many decisions during the wedding time. Thank you so much again to these two gentlemen and to everyone who helped is making the big day special.

I recently stayed at Shyam Sarovar Portico in Orai and had a great experience. At the time of check-in, Mr. Vaibhav Gupta helped us with the process, it was super quick and smooth, and my family and I were checked in within just 2 minutes. He was also there during check-out and was very polite and helpful.|The hotel itself is really good, but staff like Mr. Vaibhav make the experience even better. If you're visiting, I highly recommend meeting him, he'll definitely assist you in the best way possible.

beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff,lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had lunch Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The location is okay, but what really stands out is the architecture--it's absolutely beautiful. The design is stunning, and the presence of so many sparrows adds a lovely, peaceful charm to the place. I really loved that. The pool and banquet area were also very well-maintained and visually appealing. A delightful experience overall.

Visited Shyama Sarovar Portico recently with high hopes, considering the hotel's reputation and its prominent location. The ambiance definitely feels polished and upscale at first glance, but unfortunately, the dining experience left much to be desired. While the property itself has potential, the restaurant experience was a letdown in many aspects. Ambiance - Elegant but Needs Better Hygiene Control (3.5/5) The restaurant has a well-designed interior with comfortable seating and a peaceful setting. There's a touch of class in the decor and the overall layout feels quite spacious. However, the presence of flies inside the dining area was a huge turn-off. For a place that carries a premium tag, this was disappointing and distracted from the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. A little more attention to cleanliness and pest control would go a long way in maintaining the hotel's image. Food - Average in Taste and Quality (3/5) We ordered Kaju Curry, Dal Tadka, Tawa Roti, and Raita--classic Indian dishes that are typically hard to go wrong with. Sadly, none of them really impressed. * Kaju Curry was overly creamy and lacked the depth of flavor. The cashews didn't feel fresh and the gravy was too rich without a balance of spices. * Dal Tadka was okay, but again, very ordinary--more like something you would get in a local dhaba than a 4-star hotel restaurant. * Tawa Roti was served cold, and it felt like it had been left out for a while. * The raita was passable, but not something you'd mention unless asked. Nothing was inedible, but nothing stood out either. For the pricing and the brand value attached to the property, the food fell short. Service - Slow and Disorganized (2.5/5) The service was unusually slow, even though the restaurant was not very crowded at the time. We had to remind the staff a couple of times for basic things like water refills or getting our rotis served hot. There seemed to be a lack of coordination among the staff, which led to unnecessary delays and a somewhat frustrating experience. Cleanliness - A Serious Concern (2.5/5) One of the biggest disappointments was the dirty cutlery that was placed on our table. We had to ask the waiter to replace the spoon and fork, which were clearly stained. In a property like this, such basic hygiene lapses are not acceptable. Clean presentation and attention to detail should be a given at a place that positions itself as a premium hospitality destination. Even the staffs were without gloves. Final Verdict - Room for Major Improvements (3/5 Overall) Shyama Sarovar Portico has the infrastructure and branding of a top-class hotel, but the dining experience does not reflect that standard. With average food, slow service, hygiene concerns, and flies in the dining space, the restaurant is not currently living up to its potential. If you're staying at the hotel, it might be convenient to dine in. But if you're looking to go out for a good meal in the city, there are better options nearby. Hopefully, with better training for staff, improved food quality, and stricter cleanliness standards, this place can bounce back. For now, it's a 3/5 for me - not terrible, but definitely not worth a second visit unless things improve.

Nice property. Awesome hospitality. Dining experience is very good. F&B team is very good including Mr Padam , bapan, Sunil, Abhijit. Special mention to lead chef & his team as well. Desk manager Mr Vaibhav also very polite & helpful. Recommended for stay.

Best hotels & Restaurants in Bundelkhand region,Staff of this restaurant is so well behaved and food is also delicious. MR.SHANTANU manager of this restaurant is so nice & cutomer friendly. Rooms are like five star hotels very close to nature. All staff are well behaved and cultured.

A very pleasant Resort Hotel with 5 Star 5 Rooms and ambience. The fragrance of lobby feels amazing. As per the price it's great but service needs to be improved. Parking is Huge Clean well maintained campus Swimming Pool is beautiful Cottage rooms also looks stunning.
