    *Review: * I had a great experience at **Velvista Hotel** in Muzaffarnagar. The **room was very nice**, clean, and comfortable. The **food was very tasty**, with a lot of variety and great flavor. The **location is very good**, easy to find and close to the main city. There's also **big parking available**, which is very convenient. Most importantly, **all the staff were very helpful and polite**--excellent service throughout my stay. Highly recommended!

    It was an awesome experience staying at Velvista. The rooms were so clean. No bad smell was there. Delicious food. A big thanks to the catering team. Well behaving staff at reception. And the last guard at the main gate was so helpful. One thing was missing there was a swimming pool. My request to the hotel management to make out a provision for the pool by shorting the park. Or you can take additional space in the back from the farmers to accommodate the pool.

    |We attended a cocktail dinner function at Velvista Hotel, Muzaffarnagar on 11th April and had a wonderful experience! Everything was very well organized -- from the beautiful setup to the smooth service. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the starters and desserts. A big thank you to the entire team for making the evening so memorable. Highly recommended for events!

    WORST experience ever. Think twice before booking this marriage hall! #Fraud #Cheating #Scam||||Our engagement and wedding took place here in November, and it was nothing short of a disaster. During the engagement, the food was so horrible that we had to submit a written complaint to the staff. It was cold, tasteless, and completely unfit for a special occasion.||||But the wedding day was even worse. We were compelled to choose from their listed decorators, with no option to bring our own. We paid over 2 lakh rupees, and the decorator simply reused the previous night's decor--no freshness, no personalization. Important details like the phoolon ka chadar, which were clearly discussed in advance, were completely missing. On top of that, the decorator stopped answering calls on the wedding day, leaving us to manage things ourselves at the last moment.||||When we raised these concerns, the hotel still insisted we pay the full amount, showing no sense of accountability. It felt like a clear scam between the hotel and decorator, likely involving commissions at the cost of the customer's experience.||||Additionally, we were promised one complimentary room as part of the package, but when the time came, it was quietly denied without explanation. Just another example of how little regard they have for their commitments.||||To make matters worse, the DJ didn't even work on our main wedding day. The entire event was marked by mismanagement, broken promises, and a complete lack of professionalism.||||This place turned what should've been the happiest days of our lives into a complete nightmare. Think twice before trusting them with your special moments.

    Our wedding experience with Velvista was a disaster from start to finish. Despite initial promises and agreements, the Velvista team failed to deliver on multiple fronts, leaving us feeling cheated, betrayed, and stressed. 1. Lack of Transparency in Pricing We initially booked the basement hall for our wedding, with a fixed price of Rs. 1650 per plate. However, when we visited the venue in October, we were informed that our food menu was too large and that we needed to cut down on items. The head chef also mentioned that there would be ventilation issues in the basement due to the large menu. This sudden change in plans created chaos, and we were forced to look for alternative arrangements. Then we decided to book the big lawn instead, we were told that decoration charges would be separate from the total cost. We were also forced to choose from their list of decorators, and we selected Arpan. And made advance payment to him accordingly. However in the first week of November few week before our wedding , the general manager refused to book the big lawn, citing a requirement of 1000 guests, we were left with no choice but to settle for the small lawn and basement hall. We had to change your wedding venue for the 3rd time. The pricing issues didn't end there. We were asked to pay an extra Rs. 40,000 for using the basement hall and Rs. 1 lakh for starter counters which were to be placed in the small lawn, which were supposed to be included in the initial price. This lack of transparency in pricing led to a significant increase in our wedding budget. 2. Poor Decorator Coordination The decorator, Arpan, did not follow our theme, and we had to request multiple times for changes to the color pattern. He also forgot to arrange for the phoolon ki chadar for my bridal entry, which caused last-minute stress. The stage decoration was also different from what we had discussed, with hardly any real flowers used despite our clear instructions. 3. Failed Promises Velvista's business practices seemed to be centered around making promises they had no intention of keeping. They charged excessive prices and failed to deliver on their commitments. It seemed like they took advantage of our situation, knowing that we had no backup plan and were under time pressure. 4. Food Quality The food during our engagement function was subpar, with low-quality ingredients used. Our guests were unsatisfied with the taste and quality, and the suffocating atmosphere due to the AC being switched on and off didn't help. While the food on the wedding day was average, the damage had already been done. 5. Feedback During the Event I have filled out a detailed feedback form on my engagement day itself and highlighted the issues . 6. Post-Review Follow-up After posting our review, we received multiple calls from Velvista's team, inviting us for a complimentary dinner and asking us to modify our review. When my father-in-law refused, they became rude and said " ki ap kya hi kar loge rating low karke" , making multiple calls in a day. This behavior was unacceptable and showed a complete lack of professionalism and humanity. In conclusion, our experience with Velvista was a nightmare, and we would advise potential clients to be cautious of their business practices. They seem to prioritize profits over customer satisfaction, and their lack of transparency and professionalism can lead to significant stress and financial losses.

    My suster son marriage and we stay 17.01.25 to 20.01.25. Very nice place,great hospitalityand services like housekeeping and front desk are extremely good. Food is delicious and all services are very nice. We enjoyed lot. Rating in numbers 10 out of 10. Some improvements require in vaiters services in dining hall. It's my suggestion for improvements.     My visit to The Velvista Hotel was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The food was shockingly bad--stale, poorly cooked, and lacked any flavor. It was obvious that they do not prioritize freshness or quality. Even basic dishes were disappointing, and the presentation was sloppy. The service was even worse. Mr. Sandeep, who was handling our table, was rude, inattentive, and seemed completely uninterested in doing his job. We had to ask multiple times for basic things like water, and even then, he acted as if we were bothering him. His attitude was unprofessional, and he had no sense of hospitality. When we brought up our concerns to the General Manager, Mr. Shailendra, we expected at least some level of professionalism and accountability. Instead, he was dismissive, unapologetic, and acted like customer complaints didn't matter. If this is how the management operates, it's no surprise that the staff is equally indifferent. Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. The food was terrible, the service was unacceptable, and the management clearly doesn't care about its customers. I would strongly advise against visiting The Velvista Hotel if you value good food and decent service. A complete waste of time and money!
