SHAKUNTALA PALACE

It's a wonderful place to stay. Rooms are very good, clean and has a courteous staff right from reception area to kitchen to cleaning staff. Had a very very nice experience of staying here for 3 nights. Will definitely stay here again in my next visit. Another additional points is the location. It's well on the road near the main markets so easy to get transportation facilities too.

1-star Review Cleanliness was a joke--nothing felt fresh or sanitary. The AC barely worked, half the amenities were broken, and the service was painfully slow. Food took hours to arrive and wasn't worth the wait. Staff were strange and unhelpful, adding to an already uncomfortable experience. Definitely not staying here again.

The hotel service was really appreciated. Very tidy and hygienic room Hotels complete the historic appearance and fill The boss and employees are amiable. Hussain Ganj husain gNj metro station is a minute's walk away.food iss good staff behaviour is very helpfull.

pon arriving after a long day's travel, we were advised after 5 minutes of searching for our 3 day old booking in their emails, there was to be a wedding there the next day. They would not allow us to cancel booking, so after a very long check in process we asked if we could have a quieter room located away from function. Of course we were allocated a room over-looking the function next the sound system. The room cleaning was terrible, with hairs in bed and dirt build up throughout room. The maintenance of property throughout was poor. The room had 1 towel, no tea making facilities not even a kettle. No curtain, just a see though pull up blind. Our room was not serviced the next day, even though we were out all day. I asked for a bottle of water as the room was not serviced. Of course the wedding proceeded in usual rumbuncous indian style, with 500+ people, glass ratting teeth shattering music until 1am - they can put on a great wedding - shame for rest of hotel guests. After 6 hours of sleep, a drum ceremony commenced at 7.30am and crew loudly taking apart wedding, we eventually checked out. They wanted to charge us for the 1 bottle of water provided to our room on day 2. This place is a joke, they have no idea what hospitality means. They should not take room bookings external to the wedding, they were being greedy, the other indian family that arrived also agreed. The staff just don't seem to care. I feel sorry for the young newer staff that are learning there hospitality trade from the old guys that try to work here. This property could be amazing, but it missing every mark. Especially for the price they are asking. Do not stay here.

Location is good and heritage property but you will not have much luxury feeling than other hotels no tea and coffee in room services not much maintained.just for casual stay it's fine I can say food is good.

Clean & comfortable room was provided. Convenient location & there is ample parking space. Good for families. The Veg thali for lunch & Aloo paratha for breakfast was good and had sufficient quantity. Great service & stay overall. Contact them directly for best prices.

Excellent services. Would like appreciate Ms Daksha Dixit, front office. She is exceptionally good and very helpful. A big asset to the hotel.
