I had heard rave reviews about this place, which set high expectations for my visit. Ambiance: The ambiance is generally good. Service: However, the service was slow, taking 30-35 minutes to serve the food. If you forget to order something and try to add it later, be prepared for another 10-15 minute wait. Food: As someone who has dined at some of the best restaurants in Lucknow, I was underwhelmed by the food served here. It didn't meet my expectations in terms of taste. That being said, I did enjoy the fish tikka, which was part of the non-vegetarian cuisine I ordered. Location: On the plus side, the location is convenient, situated close to the Hazratganj shopping area and right in front of Shahara Mall.

Pathetic food quality and service no one should visit royal inn and royal cafe they forget to make good food and staff was so rude they were not serving food.

Hotel is located right opposite to Saharaganj mall which is good. Main Hazratganj, lalbagh and other area are walkable. Metro station is walkable. station is within 5km I guess. I had booked the starting room which is very compact. Cleanliness is average. Room service is quick. Food charges in room service will beat 5 star hotels. Imagine one plate of daal 350 Rs and taxes. Staff is polite, good to talk but not professional. It's basically a banquet hotel good for parties and marriages. If you are staying during wedding season and plan to sleep peacefully or work from your room then not possible. Party halls are at the same floor where the rooms are. Bathtub was dirty and linen and towels were average clean. One can stay not a problem but don't expect much other than location.

I stayed at the royal inn based on the reviews and the location being close to Hazratganj central area. On arrival, i was assigned a room on the third floor - which seemed strange as they had to spend half an hour to get the room set up. Later I realised that there was construction going on in the hotel. All the rooms on the third floor were undergoing major construction and there was constant banging going on. The entire third floor was covered in rubble. The room itself was very basic and below the standard in the area. My friends had Paid a similar price for the hotels in area and their hotel was of much better quality. This one did not even meet the basic 1 star standard. I would request you guys not to trust the ratings of this place and do not get duped by management.
